For som cabinets a longer ruler woudl be nice
This cabinet jig is an absolute MUST, even for one time use. I got this for kitchen remodel and it made the drill and install of each door take less than a minute. Once setup, which took about 2 minutes, the ability to drop it on a corner and shoot two holes for bar handles is fantastic. The set screws on the guides could be a little easier to grab if they were longer, but once they are set, you can complete all drawers of that size with eaze. The once problem I ran into was doing drawers where mounting was wider than the ruler edge. For example the ruler goes to 8 inches on either side, but if you have a 24 inch drawer with a 4 inch offset, then you have to slide the ruler out to one side so much to reach the edge that you cannot drill both sides. So rather than having a set distance, to drill both holes, I had to drill one, then turn around for the other drawer and it made it super simple. I dotted the holes with the included pencil and aligned my hardware to check. My only issue was occasionally I would be slightly off perpendicular which on longer screws or thicker cabinets, could cause difficulty aligning screws on the back side with multiple point hardware. This was because I didn't use a drill press and judged where drilling straight into the cabinet door was. . A longer / movable bearing sleeve would help alleviate this. Also possibly different sizes for common hardware sizes. Again, this is a little thing, because this saved me hours and hours of work installing 24 cabinets in a day.

Easy to set, 5mm drill bits not included.
This jig has been very handy laying out my new kitchen door hardware. I found that it is better to use this to layout your holes and then prick punch the centers to drill. The unit was hard to clamp in place to keep from wobbling around when drilling. They need to design a clamping system to improve on this design, the unit does a great job repeating a desired hole pattern easily left or right side without resetting. The unit could have added a couple of 5mm drills which are not included but 3/16 drills work fine just a little smaller than bushing. The unit does come in a fitted case to keep all the pieces in one place which is a nice touch.

Very Durable!
This jig is incredibly durable and built to last! It is easy to use and comes with a nice carrying case to store it in. It works much better than I was expecting and has become an invaluable tool in our woodshop. After using it a couple of times, my husband tossed out a couple of his old jigs that he no longer needed. If you are building cabinets, this will make the job easier!

Great results
I recently needed to add some pulls to both some less-than-nice thrown-together drawers and some nicer cabinets and this set made adding the handles a breeze. All metal materials that won't break so I'm always a fan. The instructions tell you to place orient the center support a specific way but when I had to do something with narrowed mount points closer to the edge of the drawer I just reversed the support so it was out of the way. Everything is simple to move around with the thumb screws. Really the only "hard" thing is getting a good measurement on double-screw handles and transferring it to the guides. I made use of the ample flat surfaces to attach a clamp when I had to do the lower side of a door. Nothing too fancy on this set but everything is exactly what you need and easy to use.

I used this to replace all of the knobs in our kitchen with new handles.
What a time saver. I've used both the abs version of this style of cabinet jig and this metal one. The metal one is the one you want. It's tighter in tolerances and sets up quickly. I used the existing knob holes and added one the correct distance and place for uniform new hole additions. It required some adjustment because the initial installer wasn't perfect. For a completely new set of holes -- this would be ideal and painless. This kit also includes a storage case which will prevent this jig from being damaged and lose it's precision -- this is ideal. In the kit were additional spare tightening knobs and collets. They actually even included a measuring tape and construction pencil. Decent quality of both. The only negative is that this kit did not come with drill bits that some of the other kits also include. But you know that going in. Great kit -- my friend is already asking to borrow it.

Good kit, sturdy case
This cabinet hardware jig is a great tool for both professionals and DIYers. It’s made from durable aluminum alloy and offers precise, easy hole placement for handles and pulls. Setting it up is quick, and the adjustable design works well with different cabinet sizes. The engraved rulers are clear, making centering simple. The included storage case, measuring tape, and pencil are useful bonuses, keeping everything organized. While some users mentioned it could use a better clamping system and doesn’t include 5mm drill bits, it still saves time and ensures accurate results. Overall, a solid, time-saving tool for cabinet installation.

Easy & sturdy, but not for 3/16" bits
Normally I would just make a wooden jig, but I think this is easier. It's quick to set up and doesn't flex.A 3/16" drill is too loose, and a 13/64" won't fit. The bushings are 5mm, so you will need a 5mm drill bit, and handles with M-5 screws. The last handles I installed needed 3/16 holes, but 5mm would have worked just fine too.
