This baby does the job QUIETLY and Quickly! Comes with adapters to use with multiple hose types. I use it to quickly drain a portable bathtub at night with a small child and adult sleeping nearby. You just need to be sure that you coordinate yourself well with access to the plug to stop the pump when finished because there is no on/off switch and you do not want the pump to run dry. Excellent product to properly set and (somewhat) forget!

Worked great when it was needed; output may be LPH not GPH?
Dad & I used it for the first time yesterday in the crawl space. It is indeed quiet and does the trick; it doesn't have a low water shutoff as others mention. One thing to add is that I/we believe the units should have been LPH and not GPH (Liters Per Hour vs. Gallons Per Hour); the advertised 3430GPH is almost a gallon per second. 3430LPH is about a quart per second and that seems right. Worth it for the money though; will update review if there are future issues.

Not good
I used it to drain a garden fountain and it worked. Next time I used it to try to drain accumulated water on a patio it did not work and wouldn't run thereafter. A troubleshooting on Amazon site was not helpful. I contacted the support email address on the skimpy owners manual and got no response.

Has great pressure
I was initially impressed with the intense pressure of this pump, perfect for my small pond I built for my silly goose. I took the extra step of placing it in a mesh bag to prevent debris from interfering with its performance. However, despite this precaution, the pump only lasted around 2 months before needing a replacement. For areas where debris is not a concern, this pump is a suitable option. However, if you have a high debris environment, I would recommend exploring alternative options for longevity and efficiency.
