XDOVET Cabinet ClampsI have other clamps to hold work pieces together while I glue them or screw them together. This is my first set of three way cabinet clamps. I really like how the primary handle keeps the pieces flush while the secondary screw holds the two pieces together.My photos show screwing two pieces of Alder together, but the concept is the same for joining the stiles together on cabinets.I like the weight and feel of these XDOVET cabinet clamps. They are heavy for their size and that weight certainly helps stabilize and accurately hold my projects together. The guide holes made the drilling and screwing much more accurate than trying to do it freehand. I’ve done that many times and it doesn’t work very well. The guide assure a straight drilled pilot hole as well as a straight inserted screw, joining the two pieces together and avoiding splitting the wood.The fit and finish of both clamps was just perfect. The shapes are cut perfectly and there is even a very slight chamfer on the edges to soften them a bit. The orange paint is also applied without flaw and looks fantastic. Both screws, on both clamps, turn smoothly for easy tightening of the clamps.Really the only thing that might have been better, mainly because I have arthritis in my hands and fingers, is if the foam padding on the clamps was pre-installed. I was able to stick them on straight, but it took me a good minute. I guess if I did it, most people wouldn’t have a problem with it.I do a lot of woodworking and I’m already thinking of other ways to utilize these set of XDOVET Cabinet Clamps. These are an easy recommendation for me, and I’ve used a lot of other clamps. I would put this set at the top of my list.

The cabinet clamps feel sturdy and do a great job clamping on wood. It's easy to align exactly how you need it to and once the clamps are tight the wood isn't moving anywhere. This takes the stress out of drilling very accurate holes.

These clamps do one thing and do it quite well once you know how to use them. Sure you can use other general purpose clamps for joining cabinets side by side. But with these specialized clamps you can drill and put a fastener exactly where you clamp.

If you're used to settling for less than perfect facings, then this is the tool for you.Easy to use, positions the cabinets perfectly for screwing together.Will be using it on several projects, and sharing with my cabinet building friend.
