10 out of 10!
I used this to make steamed momo dumplings and boiled wontons. Success both times! The medium sized shell will hold just over a tablespoon of filling. I haven't dived into using the large size or smaller size yet because the medium has been the perfect size so far.Use the dough of your choice and roll it fairly thin. For the momo's I went down to a "7" on my pasta roller for the dough thickness. For the wontons, I also went down to the "7" level but I think really a "6" level would have been more like the restaurant style. Once your dough is to the proper thickness, use the cutter they provide to cut out your dough disks. The rings will be slightly bigger than the maker; but no worries, when you clamp it down the form will cut off the excess to make the perfect edge every time.Any blowouts were 100% my fault. I had zero blowouts with the momo's despite me getting some of the filling in the crease. The wontons had some failures once they got into the pot and boiled but I'm pretty sure it was the dough I used.So very happy with this! The first few you make may be a little rough but once you get the hang of it you can whip out finished guys in no time! The possibilities have become endless at this point for what I plan to make using these. Why didn't I get one of these sooner? The rings are metal. The forms are plastic, possibly a composite or 3D printed. Everything is easy to clean.

Overall, good set
Super cool little set. Best part about it is it comes with it's own storage container. Everything you need to get cracking on little hand foods. The only issue that I had was all of the presses had a larger gap on one side/end. I just made sure to double check the seal each press to help prevent the seal failures.

Sealed My Dumplings Perfectly
My OCD heart LOVES the fact that this set comes in its own storage bin! That alone won my heart. AND it is easy to put back into the bin - all of the pieces fit easily. I do not have a dishwasher, so I can’t say how well they hold up going through a dishwasher, but cleanup was a breeze with just soap and water. There are 3 presses, all well made yet lightweight. I tested the biggest one, using a creamed cheese mixture. I will say that the cutters are not very sharp. As hard as I tried, I couldn't cut all the way through my tortillas. It's not a deal breaker because the presses are so good. I just trimmed the excess off with kitchen sheers. Perhaps they will cut through a more delicate pastry.Using the press, the seal is secure and the large handles on the presses make them easy to use without requiring a lot of pressure. I purposely overfilled my dumpling and even though some of the filling was squished out, the seal still held.I know this will get a lot of use in my kitchen, especially with the holidays fast approaching!

Works great, more even than by hand but not more tasty! :)
This dumpling making set is pretty handy if you love making homemade dumplings or empanadas. It comes with presses in three different sizes, so you can choose the perfect one depending on your dish. The storage box keeps everything neat, and the included spoon is helpful for scooping just the right amount of filling. The plastic presses work well enough, though they might not last forever with heavy use. Overall, it’s a fun and easy way to make dumplings at home without too much hassle.

Takes the guess work out
There's so much to love about this kit! Firstly, it all fits together into a small plastic box, roughly the same size as a small shoebox. I like that, because I just tuck it away in a corner of the pantry between uses, and everything inside stays clean and dust-free until I'm ready to use it again.Another thing I like is it comes with three different size cut-outs and three different size presses, so I can make large empanadas, or small pot-stickers. I haven't used the medium size yet, but I'm sure I'll think of something to make with it.It also comes with a little spatula/scooper thing to dish up the filling into the pastry, but honestly, a simple teaspoon would work just as well. Still, it's handy to have in the kit. I recommend it to anyone who wants to make pasties and savories.

Handy, but maybe not the best seal
I don't make dumplings often, so I don't have the speedy skilled hands for it. As such, something like this can really come in handy. I just knocked out a bunch of cheese 'ravioli' in a pretty short period of time, and this definitely makes the process go faster. However, a few issues I have. For starters, even when wetting the sealing area, some of mine still popped apart a few minutes after sealing. So I'm going to have to bake these ravioli so they don't disintegrate. Also, if you are using standard wonton wrappers with the smallest mold, ignore the cutting ring and just cut the wrappers in 4 equal pieces. It'll make 4 dumplings per wrapper instead of two, with much less waste. Also, it's tricky getting everything back in the box because it all has to fit just right or the lid won't stay closed. But for $13 these aren't major issues. Also, try the knife on cold butter, scraping it through the little holes. Even though it doesn't seem to be related to making dumplings (for me), it does make a nice spreadable butter straight from the fridge.

easy and fast to use, perfectly sculpted empanadas or mini pies
I’ve been using this set to make breakfast empanadas with scrambled eggs, cheese, and sausage, and it’s been a hit in our house. As long as I don’t overfill each pocket, the results have been perfect every time. My daughter and I set up an assembly line when we used these and it was FUN! Once we figured out the right amount of filling, the empanadas came out smooth, perfectly sealed, and neatly sculpted—it was oddly satisfying. The pressing process is super fast, which was a relief since I was worried about it taking too long to make enough that would fill up my big eaters. But to my surprise, I ran out of dough in no time, and we had leftovers for a few days. I can’t wait to experiment with regular empanadas and maybe some dessert treats. The speed, ease, and consistency are what stand out the most for me. The storage container is a nice bonus.
