Really good cookies, but just can't compete with a fresh, soft chocolate chip cookies.
I love a soft, fresh chocolate chip cookie. I've made them for years, but I developed some health issues, so I can't stay on my feet as long. I saw these and thought I would try them because I love their Mint Milanos. In truth, the "Sausalito CRISPY Milk Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies" should have clued me in that they were... I don't know.. crispy? Anyway, that went right over my head. They were really good, taste wise. You could taste the macadamia nuts and the big chunks of chocolate are dreamy. I would love a soft version, but there is just something wrong with a hard chocolate chip cookie. It's not them- it's me, but there it is.
