This is a cute idea to have an advent calendar with crystals each day, instead of chocolate. The box is about the size of a box of chocolates, and the crystals about the size of a candy! So you could definitely fool someone into thinking it is a box of candy and surprise them when they open it. This has a mix of tumbled and non tumbled stones, and the color variety of the stones is nice-so it could be entertaining/educational to a child as well, besides a crystal collector.

my son has taken to collecting rocks, and when he got this set it created an excitement that was awesome! we research the stones, he learns about them and is quite happy to sit and read / discover more and each night he regales us with these stories and a little show and tell. the happiness of a 6 year old is immeasurable, so 5 stars it is

I have 2 'complaints' about this advent calendar - I wish it gave some type of hint in the package design for what type of stuff is inside (ie. I got a fishing lure advent calendar and there are fish design stuff all over it, etc.) and #2 I would have preferred more scientific details in addition to or instead of the mystical properties to the stones (kids don't understand any of that stuff & it isn't the easiest to explain). Otherwise, they are good small size, pretty variety of types of stones, comes with a wire to make 1 into a necklace and a cheap little bag to keep all the stones together. Great different idea for an advent calendar so all in all, I recommend.

Great value (currently on sale!). The crystals are a good size and had a nice index of each one with its properties. A fun non edible Advent calendar, though definitely not safe under 2 or 3 years old, some of the crystals are choke-hazard sized.

Advent calendars are a tradition in our house, usually a gift from Elf on the shelf. As our daughter gets older, it is harder to find a calendar to suit her interests. This one is perfect for her. Great for tweens, teens, witchy friends or family, and rock collectors. This includes a necklace and storage bag as well. Beautiful shiny stones. Cool calendar!

I love this event calendar. A few of the stone are obviously fake/misnamed but each was unique and super fun to open!

This Christmas crystal set is great for crystal gemstone collectors, enthusiasts, lovers. These diverse gemstones are especially great for those into alternative spirituality and new age practitioners. My only slight suggestions that would of made this even better would been a bit more shaping to the stones to make them less irregular shape but that's a minor quip.

I’m in the pockets-full-of-rocks stage of parenting so knew my son would enjoy this gemstone calendar. He also really likes accessories, so I thought the necklace would be perfect. The stones seem to be nice, and there’s a fair variety. Some are rough and some are finished. I won’t be using the necklace, unfortunately, as the string is just string, but I might turn it into an anklet or something. He loves the little velvet bag and wears that around on his wrist. Ha
