I have been acquiring the individual components in this set for the most part, but this set has it all. It is nice to have all of the individual options in one case, and a compact case at that. They did an excellent job of compressing the pieces. They placed them in the upper and lower lid; no space was wasted. They also created a very secure case because none of the pieces were loose when it arrived. That is a huge advantage over the loosey-goosey cases that you have to reorganize the pieces every time you open the case and find them disheveled. Having left-handed drill bits has the added advantage in that it's possible the screw will extract just from drilling it, instead of a right handed drill bit driving it in even further. The set is made from high-hardness chrome-molybdenum and high speed steel where you don't need a mega-steel type where it is not needed. A universal kit that definitely will supply you with everything you need to get the job done.

PROS: Great versatile set with virtually all the sizes of bits and extractors you'd need to remove any broken off or striped bolt/screw, nicely laser etched and labeled pieces, good overall quality, hardness, and fit/finish on all parts, good carry/storage case. CONS: Bits may not bore well into already hardened fasteners, and small diameter removers can snap off easily while using if you are not real careful about perfectly straight and perpendicular movements to get the offending part out, (hate when that happens because now you have a hardened piece of broken off metal to remove prior to getting the original piece out, so don't don that). Overall great value for this size kit, and would make a great gift.

Extensive assortment of left-hand drive drill bits and extractors. Covers all standard and smaller fastener sizes. Choose a bit that is just slightly smaller than the threads of the stuck fastener, lock your drill and drill into the fastener head in reverse. Often the left-hand drill bit will get the fastener to spin out by itself, but if not, choose an extractor and drive it in reverse until it grabs the fastener and spins it out.I had a small M5 bolt that was stuck when I got this kit. First try with the extractor and it came right out. Easy-peasy. An invaluable tool set to have when you need it. Saves a lot of time compared to most other methods.

Definitely a worthwhile set to own when your dealing with rusted nuts or chewed up screws. The only downfall is the deep well sockets need some larger sizes. Overall the drill bits yook a beating and survived well. The flutes in the sockets held up yo some abuse. The extractor pin definitely helped in getting the bolts out of the sockets. I think to be really effective set, you need sockets going upto 22mm deepwell. Otherwise a good set and gets the job done.

Okay for a person who tends to keep their extractors in an old Sucrets tin, this kit blew me away! It has everything I can possibly imagine needing for extractions. What I absolutely love is this product don't reek of rancid oil and the individual components are dry to the touch, which is exactly how I like to get tools in. What I absolutely hate is cracking open a case and spending 20 minutes wiping off excess oil.I have only used one of the extractors so far and the associated pilot hole drill bit. Both worked fine without issues and I'm back in business with my project.I am extremely pleased with this kit and I'm going to be watching this vendor for more products.
