Infinity Instruments Retro Redux Wall Clock

Replaced a 20 yr old (est) Infinity Retro clock with this one - repeat buying is my endorsement. This one has a second hand, which is really nice.UPDATE: The clock loses time - needs to be corrected now and again. It keeps great time for a while, then loses time quickly until it's reset. Not spending $10 to ship it back, but retracting my endorsement above as I see I am now in a Club of people with unreliable clocks.

wanted an upgrade from from a plastic ,big box store clock for my ny apartment. liked it so much I got one for the country house kitchen.love the sweeping second hand. so far ,both are keeping perfect time.

I bought this clock 3yrs and 4months ago. It is still going very strong.Very nice classic look with metal body instead of plastic, easy to readfrom distance, just right size for our 3bed apartment house living room.The time is VERY PRECISE. I never had to adjust it than when switchingbetween SDT and DST. That's all.The one got does NOT have the second hand but the picturedone does. They may have added it since I bought it in 2013.As far as mine (with no second hand) is concerned, there arefaint ticktocks you can hear from the clock. For living room use,the noise not a problem at all. I don't have it in our bedroom so Idon't know how quiet (or noisy) it would be there. If you live in acity nearby busy street, then it shouldn't be a problem. The noiseis very faint. If you live in a serene forest or on a lakeside, you mayhear it at night. The added second hand may make more noise.

Great looking clock, but it does not keep proper time. Batteries are not the issue. Loses several minutes a week. I hung mine near the ceiling, so adjusting it is not convenient. Waited too long to return, so will have to trash it. Don't buy this clock!Update: Contacted the mfr, they sent a replacement at no charge. Keeps proper time...so far. 5 stars for service, less 1 star for quality control.

This is the second clock like this that I've purchased. It's beautiful in it's functional simplicity. I've had the one in my kitchen for more than a year and it works beautifully. This one is going in a vacation rental in the woods. The color combination of black and ivory works perfectly in that kitchen. (My other clock is red.) I need a second hand on a clock in the kitchen for timing things. I need the dial to be easy to read and not cluttered with Roman numerals or numbers in a font that is difficult to read on the fly and the minute increments need to be easy to follow, just like this clock. It is perfectly simple and simply perfect. The retro design/look gives it interest and is fun. I think it is good value for the money. It doesn't look cheap and looks weightier than it is.The color selection means it was easy to make it work in both kitchens. I'm really happy with this purchase... again!

Good quality retro design clock, and if it's not available in the color you want, it's easy to repaint. If you flip the clock over (put it on layers of towels or soft cloths to protect the glass front) you'll see four V-shaped wires. Just push down on one side of one of them at the top and unhook it from under the metal rim. Repeat that all the way around and you can disassemble the parts and remove the metal rim from the clock and remove the shiny metal ring from the rim. You can then sand the rim lightly and spray paint it whatever color you choose. Reassembly is the reverse, and just press the V-shaped wires back into place.

I was looking for a clock that was easy to read, quiet, and had a clean design. This clock fit the bill perfectly. I am a bit concerned about some of the negative reviews regarding this clock. Fingers crossed I get years of use out of it because I really do like how it looks in my kitchen.

My older clock finally died and replacing the clock mechanism was going to be a lot of trial and error will little chance of success. I bought one locally, but it ticked so loudly I could actually hear it in the next room. Found this and decided to chance it, so glad I did. It is totally quiet and looks great. The cover is slightly convex, so I had to move it a few inches to find the place that the kitchen light didn't reflex too much and cause a glare. Might just buy another for the bedroom.

Great looking clock but it does have a loud tick of the second hand, if that sort of thing matters to you.

2nd one we bought, 1st one purchased 2yrs ago stopped working but liked the look so bought another. but had to use the metal housing from the old one because new one was so warped. This will be the LAST one for sure.

Even with fresh batteries (tested with volt meter), it will occasionally stop for 5+ minutes. Happens about once a month.It does look nice though.

Really like the look well made

It arrived broken because the quality is very cheap. Dont waste your money
