Love it!
This shift lever is perfect if you are looking for a much more comfortable ride. Your foot has access to the whole floorboard without the stock lever getting in the way. Highly recommend this lever!!

Makes it MUCH more roomy for those of us with man feet.
The additional room on the floorboards is greatly appreciated and needed. Even with my feet slid forward I can just stop on the actual lever without having to walk my foot back to the leg. These work so much better than my RSD (which stripped out) or the HD thin ones that seem shorter than even the RSD. Solid build, too. No worries about stripping.

Now onto the good. The 2
Shift shaft hole was broached incorrectly causing the lever to not seat correctly on the shaft and allow the pinch bolt to pass through. Seeing as I needed it for the next days ride I ground down the back side of the lever to get the pinch bolt through and installed the lever. Since the hole was at a slight angle it caused the lever to hang up on the primary case. More grinding to get the necessary clearance between the lever and the case. This was on an UN-modified 2003 road king. After an appropriate amount of fitting the lever cleared. Now onto the good. The 2.5 inch of extra length made a tremendous difference in the space on the floorboard. I can shift without picking my foot off the floorboard and have more room for my foot.If the lever would have been broached properly it would have been worth every penny I paid for it. It's still on the bike and I still use it, but, I'm waiting for it to start rusting due to having to grind on it thus removing the chrome plating.

A LITTLE TIGHT TO INSTALL
The only bad part of this was the install.Even spreading it with a screwdriver installed, it acted as if it had too much plating on the splines. Had to work it back and forth (again, while a screwdriver was installed, wedging it open) several times until I could get it to seat fully on the splines.Other than that, it works great! Gives my big feet (size 12) enough room between heel and toe shifters, even with floorboards moved forward 2". Kuryakyn Extended Girder Shift Lever

Great Shift Arm.
This is a great shift arm, but it should come with a peg screwed on.Why? Because it's very hard to unscrew the stock Harley peg without buggering up the rubber. The best way is to clamp the rubber (wrapped in a protective shop cloth) very tight in a vice, then heat the threaded end to release the thread locked peg. Then you have to put it on your new, longer shift arm.An included installed peg would increase the price and that would be OK with me.I guess you would have to choose the peg style too.In my case, I just want a stock HD peg.

I couldnt get this to fit on the inside. I could get it to slip on the outside(heel shifter), but once I flipped it around to get it to go on the inside (front shifter), I could not get it on the shaft. For as expensive as this is compared to cheaper alternatives (that did fit), I cant give it more than 3 stars. I returned it.

Works fine, but seems overpriced (not as much as the OEM Harley extended shifter, but still overpriced). Moves the shifter far enough forward that my size 13's can now take up the whole floorboard without hitting the shifter. The threads for the knob were really tight though, so you may try to tap them before installing a peg.

Nice looking piece
Chrome is well done . Peg mount had to run a tap thur to clean up threads of excess chrome Bolt placement is opposite to stock so its from the bottom. A bit of a trick tightening as its real close to primary cover bolt lug.
