This is not a superhighway quality item -- it's basically balsawood and plastic. That being said, the assembly and finish work are very neat and well done. With low lighting, and the lights on in the little house, it looks adorable. I will definitely make this part of my decorations.

good size， great value for money

My wife and I always decorate the house for Christmas and that includes an area of our family room (along a wide mantle shelf) of a Christmas village. Our collection includes several of the "brands" that have been marketed over the last several decades and we like the look of "our" Christmas village. Whatever brand or era the various buildings in our collection may be, they're all "to scale" and they're fairly heavy ceramic and they're lit with bulbs.This house is NOT that kind of house. It's not "to scale." It's actually very narrow, which you can see in the product photos on the Amazon page. The purpose of this design is to "fit" into areas that a full-scale Christmas village building likely would not fit. In fact, that's why we're giving this 5 stars and why my wife will be proud to put this on her desk at work. At her company, workers are allowed to have reasonably sized desk-top decorations and this is perfect for that setting.So we're happy to give this 5 stars, but be aware as you're considering this building that it may not "mesh" with your existing "village" in design.

Beautiful little table decoration to add to my collection. This is made really well and is very detailed. It is beautiful and fits perfectly on my countertop.

I got the red wooden light up snow house and it is really cute. It will be incorporated into our Christmas village. It looks very nice, nicely made. It lights up well and has a nice glow. It's not very wide and has a sturdy enough bottom stand, so it will fit into different places good.It does look like how it is in the listing pictures and it is very cute. It will look really nice nestled in the fake snow blanket amongst all the other Christmassy pieces in our village. I think it would look best with at least some fake snow covering the bottom stand part.
