I recently purchased this telescope with high hopes for stargazing sessions with my kids. The setup experience was exciting, but our excitement faded quickly once we tried to use it.Unfortunately, we struggled to get clear views of the moon and stars. Despite following the instructions, we couldn’t achieve the clarity we were hoping for. For beginners like us, this made the experience disappointing. A good tutorial or a YouTube link from the seller on how to properly set up and focus the telescope would have been extremely helpful.On a positive note, the tripod stand is quite sturdy and high-quality, which was reassuring. However, the telescope body itself is a basic plastic build that doesn’t inspire much confidence in durability.Overall, while the stand is good, this is not for beginners like me. This telescope may require more experience or additional accessories to achieve the clear views we expected.

The binoculars arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. The instructions were clear, and in good English - explaining mainly how to set up the included adapter for using a cellphone to take pictures through the instrument.I found the adjustment of eye distance to be a little tricky, (common with high magnification optics) and deducted half a star. However, once the inter-pupil distance was set the left and right images merged together well.The images through these binoculars are superb. Bright, clear, and with no color distortion right up to the edges. The 12x magnificarion is great for all outdoor uses, and the included tripod / handle makes it especially easy to keep the binocular rock steady and avoid shake in the image.The included phone adapter is well thought out. It easily enables a cellphone to be fitted to the rear of the binocular and to take 12x pictures through the optics. Paired with the tripod it makes a great setup for photographing wildlife !In summary this is an extremely good binocular kit, and of very high quality.UPDATE : After more extensive use of these excellent binoculars, I have decided to update my assessment to 5 stars.

Excellent lightweight binoculars. Clear and sharp, I like the phone attachments to take photos through the binoculars. While the photos are circular, they do show very clear results, and the adapter is very easy to use. The binoculars are easy to focus and adjust. The only issue I have is that the binoculars are not as forgiving as the others I have used regarding where your eye has to be. You have to be in the very middle of the lens. Otherwise, you get some darkness around the edge of your vision. These are very clear, and the contrast is very good. I like the tripod hole on the binocular that you can use to mount on any standard tripod. The tripod provided works fine for use with the phone mount, but you could also mount the binoculars on a regular tripod for viewing while standing up. All and all a good value.
