I bought this to cover a light weight comforter that I didn't want to replace since I love it so much, but needed to change the color after repainting the room. The duvet fit the comforter well and looks nice on the bed and feels nice too, but twice now i've woken up drenched in sweat underneath them. Yuck!The material is pretty thin so it's surprising that it would retain so much body heat under them. It's been a few days sleeping under them so I doubt I can send it back now so i'll just take a loss on it. I recommend this if you live in a really cold climate and want to stay warm under something lightweight.Believe me, these will definitely keep you warm and toasty throughout the night...they just warmed me a little too much! I do like the shams so i'll keep those on the bed after tossing out the duvet and will try and shop for something more breathable.

i looked for an affordable option. i like it but its nothing fancy, can be a little see through if you have a pattern underneath. I like the zipper feature but there are not ties to secure comforter in the duvet so blanket can get lost in there and needs to be adjusted.

have had a mixed experience with it. On the positive side, the duvet cover set is made of high-quality materials and is very stylish. It has a 1500 thread count that is lightweight and comfortable to sleep under, and it has a smooth, silky feel that feels luxurious against my skin.The duvet cover set is also very durable and has held up well after multiple washings. It has not shrunk or faded, and it has retained its color and shape.However, I have experienced some issues with the set's zipper closure. The zipper is not very smooth and can be difficult to zip and unzip, which can be frustrating. It also does not stay closed very well, which means that the duvet cover can come loose and shift around during the night.Overall, while the HC COLLECTION Queen Duvet Cover Set in Eggplant is stylish and durable, the zipper closure issues are a concern.

Packaging says Queen size, but I ordered King - however I think this might be an international size issue, as it does seem to fit my UK King size duvet OK.The other issue to beware of, is that the product is described as 'Egyptian Quality' and 'Cotton'- but the label sewn into all 3 items says 100% Polyester - which makes them quite pricey for what they are in my opinion. I am not returning them purely due to laziness, although I doubt I will use them much, as I sleep hot anyway and Polyester just makes it worse.

It is lovely and comfortable, colour true to picture. Button closure has to be on side in order for proper fit and that was before washing. Only complaint is that it shrunk. I checked size before washing as instructed but size was different after washing. This item was twice the price of the other ones I purchased and the only one that has shrunk. Shrinkage was not very much and still fits well. Also, wrinkles when coming out of dryer but they disappear shortly after.

The product is not what is advertised. The sheets are rough so I washed the set a few times with fabric softener and vinegar to soften the sheets which helped a bit then had to wash again to get the vinegar smell out.Fabric really holds the wrinkles too!DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE PRICE especially since it’s falsely advertised. I have gotten better quality sheets at HOMESENSE for a better price.

My only complaint is that it didn't come with corner ties to hold the duvet in place. I saw one review indicating they liked the ties, so expected them, but mine came with no ties. This wasn't a difficult fix, some spare ribbon and a few minutes on the sewing machine, and I have ties, but wasn't expecting to have to add them myself.(So has the product changed or was the other reviewer wrong)

Great feel and quality. Only dissapointment is there are nk ties inside to tie the duvet to in the corners so we always have to shake the duvet back into position as it bunches.
