Not great for 2006 Silverado
The end to lower the spare tire is too big to lower on a 2007 Silverado. It would spin over the lowering device. Had to modify it to work.

It didn't fit a 2017 silverado
I tried testing it, but it seems the buttons that connect the pieces together would block it from going in to the guide pipe. It seems like it's sturdy metal but those buttons stopped it from actually being useful
