Amazing taste
Love these oats! They are hit or miss at the big box stores so it’s nice to get them here. They cook up very quickly and have wonderful flavor.

Delicious & Healthy!
Ok, I admit.. I was skeptical. I had never had steel cut oatmeal in my life. Yes, I hang my head in shame... the only oatmeal I have ever known came to me in an envelope in a box with a funny looking Puritan on it. So, needless to say, although tasty enough, the texture left a lot to be desired. So I took a chance and purchased Coache' Oats. I am so happy I did. It is fast and easy to make. It tastes amazing. And I love the texture! For the first time ever, my oatmeal has "bite" to it. And best of all, the price is amazing. It is about 30 cents per serving, compared to the *other* kind, which runs about 45 cents a serving. Not only can you make breakfast out of it, but it makes great Apple Crisp (there is a recipe on the bag), and some Oatmeal cookies. And the convenient bag, with a zip top, makes it easy for baking - and it stays fresh.

... oatmeal and discovered that it's the instant stuff I hate. So I started buying and eating oatmeal
I never cared for the texture of oatmeal but then I had "real" oatmeal and discovered that it's the instant stuff I hate. So I started buying and eating oatmeal. Then I tried a toasted oatmeal and liked the flavor more. I couldn't find it locally at a reasonable price so I searched online and discovered Coach's Oats. I love the taste and the texture. And it is almost instant when fixed in the microwave, you microwave for three minutes. I premeasure a serving into snack size zip bags, add brown sugar and cinnamon and take a week's supply to work with me. Its a fast, easy, filling and very tasty and healthy breakfast. One word of caution though: Make sure your bowl is WAY bigger than you would think you need. The oatmeal bubbles up and you will have a mess to clean in the microwave if you don't.It's ideal for camping, too, especially if you premeasure and add your sugar or whatever in the zip bag before you go. It takes 5 minutes to cook on the stove. I have bought multiple bags of this to share with the oatmeal lovers in my circle of friends and family. I've created several converts.

Try their cookie recipe! It's awesome!
Oatmeal cookies were never my favorite but a few days ago I gave my husband the choice of any homemade cookie that he wanted and he chose oatmeal. I love Coach's Oats and since that was the only oatmeal in our house I Googled "Coach's Oat Oatmeal Cookie recipe" and found this one from the Coach's website. I left out the raisins, neither my hubby or I are fans of raisins in stuff, on the first batch. They turned out so good that the very next day I made a double batch of them but this time added walnuts. Oh my goodness! Yummo! The extra cookies are now in the freezer for the next time we have company.Coach’s OatsOatmeal Cookies¾ cup butter softened1 cup packed brown sugar½ cup sugar¼ tsp. salt1 tsp. baking powder¼ tsp. baking soda2 tsp. ground cinnamon2 eggs2 tsp. vanilla1 ¾ cup all purpose flour2 cups Coach’s Oats1 cup raisins*Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a mixing bowl, beat butter with an electric mixer for 30 seconds. Add sugars, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, eggs, vanilla and about half of the flour. Beat until thoroughly combined. Beat in remaining flour. Stir in oats and raisins (if you’re using them). Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet about one inch apart. Bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden. Cool cookies on a wire rack. Enjoy!*Optional: Replace raisins with dried cranberries or chocolate or butterscotch chips. You can also add ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts. For a softer cookie use 1 cup Coach’s Oats and 1 cup rolled oats.

None better!
I've been enjoying this oats for years, ever since I discovered it in Southern California--but bewailed its absence in my home state of Arkansas. I was so relieved to find it available through Amazon, although at a much higher price than on the West Coast where it's manufactured after its invention by a genuine sports coach. Still, Coach's is worth the cost. The oats cook quickly (1/3 cup oats to 1 cup water) in our 1100-watt microwave at 4 minutes, 20 seconds, 70% power level, adding about a dozen dried cherries to keep the bowl from boiling over. (The cherries also add a light touch of sweetening). A few raw, unsalted sunflower seeds (we're off salt at our house) add additional crunch, and a tablespoon or two of milled flax seed, stirred in after cooking, furnish additional fiber. Add some lean ham, turkey bacon or sausage, an egg, or yogurt (all for protein) and some fruit or juice to the breakfast menu and you've got a well-rounded meal that will keep your tummy happy for hours.

Coaches Oats are the best!
They are easy to prepare, have a good texture and I think they are better. Much like steel cut. I like to add some cranrasins, blue berries, chopped apple or other fruit.

This oatmeal is absolutely delicious
This is now my favorite breakfast and it cooks up quickly. The only negative is it’s pricey.
