At first the front drag was not smooth while reeling in a fish, but somehow over time it started to work properly. Now it works without fail. I like the latch for the rear drag. Very easy to flip. Time will tell if it holds up. Great bottom fishing real. So easy to adjust to different depths without flipping the bail. Quality seems good. Not at the level of a Penn but much less money.

Bought two of these. Finicky drag release (good way to lose your rod/entire setup!) and rough drag. Yes, the thing is as cheap as a bait feeder can be, but I don’t think you even get what you pay for with this one.UPDATE: The bait feeding mechanism has stopped working entirely. I should have returned both instead of one.

I bought this reel specifically for carp fishing. After getting my reel the first time, and not being functional at all, I received a message from the seller and they offered me a free replacement to try out. They stated it would be better quality, and upon first opening it, I agree. It looks better built, and the parts are all seem to be working fine. I will update once I fish with it.

All I can say is it is a great reel. Really smooth casting and retrieving love the dual drag.

It is very good quality and size fitting my needs at a fair price.
