For 25 years I have owned a British Berkfeld water filter and have loved it. It has 4 white ceramic filters that lasted me all these years. They just started to leak and the filter was getting beat up from taking it in my motorhome when I travel for business. So I though it was time to buy something new and I bought this because the Berky and British Berkfeld (two different manufacturers) have gotten expensive. I though it would be cheap, thin stainless steel, but to my surprise it is more heavy duty than my old one. The metal is thicker and the spigot is stainless and is heavy duty as well instead of the plastic one that came with my British Berkfeld and had to replace. My only question is about the filters. Are they as good as my old ones and will they last me 25 years like my Berkfeld did? Probably not. But the water tasted as good as my old one before the filters broke. For the price I could replace a lot of filters and still save money compared to the other options. I highly recommend this filter system.

A great water source

I purchased this because I do not like drinking tapwater or using it for cooking. My friend had one so I decided to get one myself while I do like the functionality I find that the filters are incredibly expensive.It sits nicely on my kitchen counter next to the sink for easy filling.
