Husband loves to fish and always has broken pieces of lures that just get thrown away. He saw some online guys reusing some of their broken pieces to make their own molds. This one works really well when you clamp it correctly. The mold is really sturdy and he likes it better than the plastic molds he has.

YOU MUST USE A METAL C CLAMP and clamp tight. I first used spring clamps it is was a hot mess.Once securely clamped (I wish it had thumb screws) it makes a nice pair of baits.Does release with little nibs that are easy to pull off and makes a clean bait.I do recommend this for the money. I wanted a small paddle tail grub and this fits the bill.I like that a picture of the bait is on the casting, my others do not.You can trim the grub an inch and will still be a great bait on a jig.

This mold produces some quality lures. It has a great finished product. Quality product that should last a long time. You can produce some quality lures really easily with this.

This is such a well made, durable aluminum bait mold, and it looks great. I make my own baits from recipes handed down for generations; my two faves involve blood and ivory soap bars. I've never made soft plastic lures and am really looking forward to making some, and figuring out ways to include some of my fave ingredients. I'm all for trial and error, and excited about it.This particular mold is a 3" two cavity mold that resembles a minnow imo. As a beginner plastic lure maker, I'm proud of this beautifully crafted mold that I can pass on with my bait recipes that guarantee catches and a big fish fry. The fish can't help but take it. Lol! Excellent quality and great value.

Very precise matching on this mold . Two sides fit together tight and the cut outs for bait are perfect. Aluminum modes from this vendor are exceptional.

This high-quality aluminum mold fits together perfectly. It allows for two soft baits to be formed at one time. I particularly like this design. This soft bait is currently quite popular and evidently productive.

Best MJ makes some really nice molds for not too much money. The machining is good enough for making baits. There are other brands where the molds are polished like jewels and that makes them very attractive but it doesn't necessarily make them enter any better baits. There is no detail on the sides of the bait itself though I've often thought about adding some with a Dremel. The sides fit well and the guide rods line the mold up perfectly. This is a great little crappy bait mold.
