Highly Recommend
I love this nativity advent hands-on calendar. I bought it to help bring our family together and teach my two-year-old grandson about the true meaning of Christmas. He loves holding little figurines, and when he opened baby Jesus and his bed, he could not let it go and kept saying Jesus. Well, only some of the figurines are as durable. Only some parts are two-year-old-friendly; some are hard plastic, but others are fragile clay. But I would recommend not letting them play with the fragile parts. Two-year-olds love to touch, and it's a great way to give them hands-on with the parts of the nativity set. Highly recommend.

Random items included
Some of the items in this nativity did not make sense and the sizes were very random. For example a zebra and a monkey.

Cute kids nativity
The media could not be loaded. Nice little set. Kinda over priced. The Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, wise men, angel and Manger are nice solid resin cast figures. Everything else is dollars store plastic animals and cheap trees. Only other thing would have been nice to get Manger on the 1st and baby Jesus on the 24th. Over all kids liked it and they liked having a nativity scene in their rooms.

Choking hazard
The product is nice (though it includes strange and cheap plastic pieces- corn and bananas), but the images on Amazon are not to scale. This product is not that same size as a Little People product, though it is advertised as being appropriate for toddlers and babies. I bought this for my 2 year old and she can’t play with it because she puts them in her mouth and all of the pieces are small enough to choke on.This would be much more appropriate for a 4 or 5 year old, but not babies/toddlers.

Adorable - And Unintentionally Funny!
So, this is a very cute set, but it’s got its funny quirks. I do love it, but…Oddities- The gifts: Oh, yes, I remember the gifts of the 3 wise men: gold, frankincense, and myrrh - and corn and bananas..- The proportions are off - the aforementioned corn and bananas are almost as big as the cow. And the dog (yes, the dog - don’t you remember the dog from the manger scene in the Bible? 😂) is smaller than the corn.- I know they had to come up with 24 items, which could be challenging, but I think 4 days of corn and bananas and fence parts might be confusing and disappointing for the child anticipating the sacred manger scene.- I wished the 20 and 24 boxes were not year specific, but then I realized they actually were day 20 and 24, so they’re out of order in the box. Not a big deal, but quirky.- The people, manger, and crèche in the set are a nice, solid resin. The animals, fence and tree are just cheap, flimsy plastic. Granted, they are just filler, along with the giant bananas and corn, and also are minor players. All and all, I do like and recommend this set. Just be aware of the peculiarities.

Adorable and Unique!
I had been looking for a Advent/Christmas countdown to gift to my grands but hadn’t found any that I really liked until I found this one! I love the fact that it doesn’t just have ‘junk’ toys each day but actual pieces that can be put together to form a whole nativity scene by the end and just in time for Christmas. I did peek at several of the pieces and they all seem well made and a good size so that little ones won’t get choked on them (of course little ones would still need supervision around them). I’m so excited for my grands to start opening them each day and see the cute nativity they create and re-create and move around as much as the like ❤️

Not great
It’s very odd… things are off size compared to each other and some stuff is cartoon some is realistic. I should have pay better attention so my fault for not reading reviews normally I do but I skimmed because I was in a hurry. Some is plastic some is maybe ceramic or something else heavier. Pieces are small so my toddler loses them daily. I wouldn’t recommend only if it was on sale again. Wouldn’t pay more than $10 I’m sure there are better options.
