Very smooth pedaling motion
This seated Total Body Cubii pedaling machine pedals very smoothly. It is a little awkward to move but that is just the nature of these things. I wish it had a little compartment to store your USB charging cord when you are not using it. The battery power is just for lighting up the control display that shows how many strides you have done during your session and lots of other things. The display has 4 buttons below it and you can access everything from there without any confusion. When first you charge up the battery, it takes about 6 hours to charge and then the charge lasts about a month. There is no motor to move the pedals for you. If you need one that does have a motor, there are others on the market for that like the Ellipse that I see heavily advertised on TV. (I think it is strange that they never mention the price on the ads). I find the pedals on my Cubii move easily. There are 12 levels of resistance. I just got my Cubii so I am still using level one. I bought this to aid the circulation in my legs and feet and not for strengthening my legs but it can be used for that also. The Total Body also has two pull rings that you can use to give your upper body a workout. Each ring pulls out to about four feet. There is no adjustment for the pull strength needed to exercise using the rings. The set resistence of the rings will have given you a good workout after about 30 pulls each. You can use the rings while you are pedaling or do the rings separately.Register your Cubii right away before you dispose of the box. The serial number on the box was easy to find. I don't know where the serial number is on the Cubii itself. You get a two year warranty if you register your machine on their website. The Cubii Total Body was not cheap at $500 plus tax but I feel it is well worth the investment for me since I will use it. One suggestion I might give the manufacturer is to include a cloth cover for the Cubii with the Cubii since they say to keep dust off of it. Also providing somthing like a bright blue cover might also help you to avoid tripping over it when you are not using it. I fabricated a cover out of cardboard that helps me see it better when I am not using it.

UPDATE: Research Carefully Before Purchase
I purchased this Cubii approximately a year ago. It comes with no charger. It does have Bluetooth capability. However, after about a year, it will not charge (note: I had to purchase a charger that doesn’t work), and the display screen no longer works. Not very useful to me without the display screen.UPDATE: I reached out to customer service via email. Customer service was very prompt in providing help and seemed to be genuinely interested in resolving my problem. My problem was resolved with a new machine because the product warranty was still current, hence the importance of registering your product. NOTE: I was informed that the battery life is only one year, depending on the frequency of use. Downside: This new Cubii did not have the Bluetooth feature like my other one; I was told the one I purchased was discontinued. I received a comparable machine. Overall, I’m somewhat satisfied.

Rubber stopper pad on underside detached after a few days' use; no display after 3 months
The media could not be loaded. Got this machine on a Thursday and put in my 10,000 strides right away. Clocked 10K strides again on Friday, 5K strides on Saturday, and 12K strides on Sunday. Although the pedaling part of the machine and the stride counter continued to work great, the rubber stopper pad on the underside of the machine detached by Sunday night. I'm terribly disappointed that only a few days' use and now I have to break up my workouts every 10 minutes to move my machine back into place. When I contacted Amazon customer service about the issue, they informed me that there isn't a way to only get the rubber stopper pad replaced. So they issued a replacement request even though I said I didn't want the whole item replaced. I would have to return the whole thing to get an entirely new one. This thing is heavy. Who wants to lug it around? So the workaround I'm attempting next is to get command strips to velcro the rubber stopper pad in place. I will update if that resolves the issue.2-week Update re: command strips - these came in the mail about 2 weeks later. i attached the command strips to the rubber stopper pad and stuck it to the underside of the Cubii. The Cubii is no longer slipping and sliding. My workouts are no longer disrupted every 10 minutes so that I can readjust the Cubii's position.3-week Update - the command strips work in keeping the rubber stopper pad to the machine. however, it's a thicker adhesive and so now my machine is a little unbalanced by millimeters. it might not be transparent for a few pedals here and there. however, it becomes apparent in the thousands. also, the machine still moves. it just doesn't move every 10 minutes; it's more like every 20 minutes.4-week Update - because the rubber stopper padding underneath the machine still does not keep the machine from moving, I've placed an under desk bookshelf to stop the machine from sliding away from me as I pedal. This has completely resolved the issue of the skidding/sliding machine. My workouts are no longer disrupted.3-month Update - just after the return window closed, no matter how much I charge the machine the machine thinks it has no battery. So the machine's display stopped working and whatever settings the machine was on stayed stuck (at level 9 out of 12). See video. It's become a very expensive machine that does the same job as my regular $25 pedaling machine. So save your money and don't buy this at all.Poor customer service - I've emailed support to register the product before. No response. I've submitted support tickets for the nonexistent display and inability to charge the machine. No response. I've called their support number twice during support hours. Recording comes on to ask me to call them during hours of operation. No customer service agent or representative. So even if the product comes with a warranty, the likelihood of you getting any support is nil.4-month update - I submitted two more support tickets for the warranty-covered product. I will update this review if I actually hear from them.
