This item is perfect for my small pond and because of how it's made it prevents small animals from getting the feed or breaking it apart.

Doesn't work. The area that is supposed to hold the clips to manage quantity of food dispensed is deformed and the clips can't be installed. The agitater to move the food doesn't move and the feeder door doesn't open. The instructions are THE WORST and make no sense. Instead of telling you the steps to set the time, it simply says "tell the feeder the time it is now". Biggest waste of money. I read all the reviews and everyone else had a positive experience. I received a useless piece of crap. Will be returning.

This feeder is perfect for my small pond with 6 Koi. Being able to adjust the amount of feed is important and that is what this feeder allows.

This is an automatic fish feeder for a small to medium-sized pond. Although it says it may be used indoors or out, the all-plastic construction would make me concerned about prolonged outdoor use due to the risk of larger critters getting to the food. It runs on four AA batteries. The programming of the clock and the feed intervals is a little tedious. The font of the instruction sheet is quite small and takes time to be able to read and follow. The quantity of food delivered each feed can be regulated by using "reduction cubes" which are small pieces of plastic that block the feeding tray to reduce the amount delivered. The reduction cubes are all black and not multicolored as shown in the instruction sheet. This is best for an indoor location and may take some trial and error to determine how many reduction cubes is ideal.

I ordered this product, but did not work and comes with complicated instructions.

I love that this takes the guesswork out of a feeding schedule for our fish. It was easy to set-up and takes one more thing off of my plate. I do regularly check to make sure that it has enough food, but you wouldn't truly have to do that often. Make sure you have a place to put it that allows it to dispense easily. Overall, although it is expensive, I still think it is worth it.
