Exact fit .
This item was an exact fit. Easy to remove the old one. Just use a flat head screw driver and work under the old one to pop off. You might have some metal shavings in the threads, just becareful not to get them in your fingers. Throw the old one away and twist on the new one. Took 5 minutes. Baught extra just in case.

Seem good quality. BUT...HIGHLY RECOMMEND you get a combo including a spanner wrench tool
If you don't already have a spanner wrench/remover tool, I absolutely recommend buying a combo that includes couplers AND the tool. These were the best price for multiple clutches/couplers. I almost took off one overall star because a wrench is not included by the price is probably too low to expect the tool to be included. Again, if you have the wrench already, these will be fine. Otherwise, get a combo with wrench AND couplers.I read how easy it was to make your own removal tool. I totally disagree with the concept of making your own tool when the tool/coupler are CHEAP. I tried to make my own tool out of a couple different thickness of scrap metal. They were too thin and just bent without loosening the coupler. A standard open end wrench is too thick to fit in the gap between blender and coupler. The interwebs have some recommendations to just to pry it off with a screwdriver. The theory is that the coupler/clutch metal is soft and will just bend off. Probably true, but what about the threads? Will it increase wear on the threads? Will it leave debris in the threads that will cause problems or damage at high speed? Why risk it? At least that's my thinking on the matter.I spent at least an hour making multiple tools and another 30 minutes fighting with it. All failed miserably and I actually put radial scratches on the top of the blender under the coupler trying to twist it off. I almost put visible scratches on the top of the blender where they could be seen when I realized this was stupid. I finally gave up and just bought a COMBO spanner wrench tool with 2 couplers. If I had bought that first, I wouldn't have bought this 4 pack. As soon as it arrived i used the wrench to remove the old coupler. The new clutch/coupler was installed in about 30 seconds. No exaggeration. No more scratches. You can probably make a tool yourself that will work but is it worth the time, effort and frustration, and potential aesthetic damage to your blender? Not to me. I tried it. Get the tool. Its cheap. Then you are done. I think the tools are all pretty much the same, so get the cheapest one, or better yet, a combo.

Funny how I discovered these.
Recently took on my mom’s blender that she didn’t use in ages. First time, I broke this part and figured I ruined the blender.Sure enough, when I searched for a new blender by the same manufacturer, Amazon asked me (without prompting) if THIS ITEM is what I needed! Wow, my first HELPFUL interaction with Artificial Intelligence! Not sure why anyone would need four of these but won’t ding them a star for it.

Perfect for repair of my blender.
When this piece broke off my blender, I ordered this set as a replacement. I didn’t really need 4 but the value was too good to pass up. Very easy to apply and saved me from buying a whole new blender.

Keep a set of these on hand at all times
I have a KitchenAid blender that (like the Energizer Bunny) keeps going and going... I've had the blender for 20+ years and this is the only part that ever needs replaced. The first time I replaced one of these I thought I was ruining the blender for sure as you have to pry the old one off with a flathead screwdriver (and towel - to protect the base) to be able to put the new one on. The old one does not screw off and you'll bend the metal and think you're ruing the whole blender, but I think the things must have aluminum bottoms as that part basically bends up and off of the blender base (the one being removed will definitely look damaged - and will be) and then you just screw the replacement onto the bolt sticking up out of the blender base. I'm on my second set as the teeth on these will wear out over time. I use my blender daily for protein drinks and other things and this is my 2nd set of these replacements in 20+ years. Well worth the price and small amount of time to do the replacement work.

Great replacement part.
Over the last 12 years I've replace this part twice. It's quite durable as I use my blender for very heavy grinding several times a week. The part where he not prevents the motor from overheating. It's very easy to replace if you follow the directions
