I purchased this for rebuilding a 2.4l engine, expecting it to be somewhat flimsy at this price range, but serviceable for one motor. However, while the fit and finish is lackluster (poor powdercoating and imprecise welds) the engine stand does confidently hold an entire motor. I have no worries about welds failing or parts bending, as the stand is overbuilt for my purposes.Of note when assembling, all nuts and bolts for the frame come in a single bag, with the hardware for the caster wheels in another. The instructions refer to parts by bolt size, pitch and quantity, which can be frustrating unless you sort all hardware prior to assembly. The engine stand loses one star for not packaging the hardware by size.Overall, the Jegs Engine Stand performs its purpose, and being able to fold it for storage is a huge bonus for people with smaller garage. Unlike some of the 3-wheeled designs, this stand is stable enough to be rolled on smooth concrete floors once carrying an engine. If purchasing an engine stand again, I wouldn't buy anything without these two features.

It’s a nice solid stand for rebuilding my Land Rover V8. The 4 wheel footprint vs a 3 wheel version makes for good stability when tightening bolts or moving the stand around the garage. The JEGS customer service folks were helpful, too. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Come on mesh pack , scratch everywhere and some rusty parts , I did a bad choice when I pick up this one.

The stand held up just like it should. I did modify the handle a little because it would pinch when moving around, but overall it’s a nice easy and strong stand.

Disappointed.. Harbor freight has a stand that costs half the price of this and is of better quality.. the jegs stand looks like someone just quickly welded it together in a garage and just threw it in a cardboard box and sent it out.. the pockets where the 2 back wheels go in were caved in and i had to pry them open and smack them with a hammer in order to get the wheels on... oh well.. its here now i guess.. i knew i should of gotten a harbor Freight One from the get go
