I was a little bit sceptical about the quality of this, given the price, but as I bought it for a specific job, as long as it lasted for that job that was fine.I have been pleasantly surprised by how robust this has been, not only has it worked really well for the wood working job I bought it for it's also done a good job cutting steel and aluminium sections too, something I didn't really intend to use it for.It takes a while to put together but once it's assembled it's actually a good solid piece of kit and is now on its 5th job without any signs of wear and tear.

I have not used this much, all I did was a few test cuts on wood and metal. It works fine and all straight custs were on point. Looking forward to use this on my next project.

Good value for money, easy to assemble although instructions are poor and resorted to YouTube to set the saw up as it needed adjusting for vertical alignment. Today I’ve been cutting MDF skirting board and when coupled with the finer tooth saw blade performed faultlessly in both 90 and 45 degree cuts. Very clean cuts. Dust collection is poor so I recommend using outside with a vacuum connected to collect some of the dust. At the moment if I was asked would I buy it again the answer would be Yes. It’s light enough for me to carry and I use on a portable work bench as I don’t need the associated bench but if you’re into high usage then maybe consider.

The versatility of this saw has been great. I use it to cut wood with nails in it so the tough blade is really helpful. The laser helps me line up cuts more accurately. The assembly instructions are quite generic so it helped to see the picture on the outside of the box during assembly.

I have mounted this on a wheeled trolly in my small workspace and it is a great adition to my workshop,

Easy to assemble and calibrate although not all tools come with the saw.Accurate and clean cuts in timber and laminate using the supplied multi material blade but dust collection bag seems to collect very little and is almost vertical which seems pointless.Used it to cut some aluminum profile during kitchen refit. Gave a good clean cut but produced large amount of swarf which went everywhere even with vac attached. Overall very pleased.

Being an absolute beginner in the field of wood working I have found this saw be an absolute boon leading me to make all types of cuts with incredible accuracy. The laser guide is superb and providing you measure accurately the end result is spot on. Mitre cuts are simple and the slide mechanism is smooth and stable. I am now undertaking projects I never would have dreamed of tackling before. They say half the art good of IY is having the correct tools, well this saw certainly fits the bill for me.I would add though, that I found the assemble slightly challenging with confusing instructions. However this is probably because this was the first time I'd seen a saw like this let alone used one but I got there in the end with the videos on the web site helping. Any one with a bit of experience would likely have no problem putting it together.Anyway, thoroughly recommended and I'm now off to make another tray!!
