Jewelili Created Oval Opal Necklace Pendant for Women with Diamonds and October Birthstone in Sterling Silver 18" Rolo Chain

Bought this as a gift years ago and she still wears it. It's held up great and is still a lovely color

I purchased this necklace as a gift for my daughter who is graduating from college this weekend. It was well packaged for shipping and is in a sturdy, handsome, double black and blue presentation box as pictured with the item's description. The chain is dainty, but I certainly would not call it cheap...no knots or kinks in this one. My daughter is rather slim, so I have no doubt this chain will fit around her neck as is intended. The pendant seems well made and is very pretty. About the presentation box...there is an outer lidded box, which, when the lid is removed, opens from the end for removal of the inner hinged box. Inside this box, the necklace is held onto a notched, lightly padded black insert card, which has a small envelope on its back to hold the excess chain. We are also giving her cash, and there is plenty of room under the insert card for several tri-folded paper bills so that when she initially opens the inner box she will only see the necklace. Then, when she takes the card out to remove the necklace, she will find the money.

I love the setting and the shape of the necklace. The only thing I didn't expect is how shiny the opal looks. The picture looked more matte to me. The necklace is still just beautiful though. A bit on the smaller side, and the chain is too short, in my opinion. We are going to get a new, longer chain, so it will rest down my chest a bit, instead of right at my throat. Overall, I like it.

This necklace is sooooo much better in person.. I bought one for a gift for my sister ..and when I saw It I knew I had to have one for me too..in fact I want to buy one for all my sisters...the quality is fantastic the opal is gorgeous I cant go on enuf about this necklace. if you like silver and opals BUY THIS ..I really do want to buy like 5 more... the only thing which is no big deal... for such a beautiful necklace they could package it better.. the first one came in a small velvet box and in the box was a tiny draw string bag and the necklace was in that.. which means that when the person opens it they dont see it right away they have to open the little bag and it kinda is tangled... the second one I got was just in a small velvet box but was not secured as well as it could have. basically the presentation should WOW you because its such a beautiful necklace... but really thats no big deal so easy to fix it yourself.....i recommend this necklace to every boyfriend that has a girlfriend that loves opals...BUY IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really liked this necklace! I bought it for my mom as a Christmas gift and found myself wanting to keep it.However, the opal itself is slightly different than what the picture/video shows. The opal is not as translucent as it may appear and the "fragments" inside of it are more like flat glitter pieces-- kind of like sequins. It's opaque and the pieces are sparkly. It does come in a box and it's packaged very nicely. Overall I really liked this necklace and I would probably get it again!

The stone is very pretty. Nice quality, but when the measurements are given, it is for the setting, NOT the size of the stone. The actual stone is 1 cm at the longest part of the oval and 3/4 cm across. They say the setting is 1 1/2" long, but that includes the top of where the chain goes through....just a little misleading in my opinion. I think they should have given the stone measurement.I still like it very much. It goes with earrings I have and a bracelet. The chain is too short, I need a 20". The chain is somewhat lacking in quality. I have had to purchase another chain and rings to slide my chain through, because the opening is quite small and unyielding. The back of the setting is pretty as well and looks to be of good quality. I would order it again, but I wish it was offered without the chain and for a few dollars less.

This is a great piece! I wasn't sure what to expect after reading some of the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. The chain is nice and a good length , the opal piece itself is beautiful and looks as good as my real ones. All in all a great value for the price!

I got this for my girlfriend for a graduation gift. I hadn't had a chance to even look at it before I had given it to her (besides for online), but I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this necklace looked! She still wears it to this day and it has held up fine. For someone who loves opal stone jewelry and a "vintage" style (that how she described it) this is for you.
