Let me start this review by saying none of brands mentioned in this review (Poetic, Logitech, SuperSheilds) have NOT payed or sponsored me in any way for their mention in this review, these are brands i persoanally trust and use on a daily basis... I would give this case a much hugher rating if I could. Like... a 4.99999 etc rating if I could. The case is well made. Poetic is a brand I've trusted to protect my devices for the last 5 years now from my Kyocera's to my current LG tablet and phone (This review, obviously). All of my current devices are Poetic protected. and overall the company has that high rating.... which can tend to lead to intermitent hit or miss designs and design flaws. This is the first case I've used by them with the kickstand design. I've had the case and the phone sice about half way ingo July (2018) and it works...buuutttt it doesn't. 100% Let me explain. The bumps/nubs that hold the kickstand to the case (when closed) are practically microscopic. If you are a heavy user of the stand, like I am for watching a lot of YouTube or using a Bluetooth keyboard (Like the K830 Im using by Logitech to write this review) Then you start to notice that the nubs that hold the kickstand in place start to diminish. Now, while they dont stop working entirely, they can tend to come loose just by setting the phone down, or in some cases bumping the device can cause the stand to just....come out on its own. While not overly annoying this can be seen as a design flaw. I get what they were trying to do here buuuttt with how the nubs are positioned (towards the back of the stand) and how many other kickstand cases tend to have the placement of the nubs more in the middle and make them thicker so you get that satisfying *click*. These ones sort of just....slide in and hold it. Do not let the fact that this review is a 4 star fool you, This is easily a 5 star case if you let it be, or if youre not too bothered by the stand randomly popping out while you hold it from just a bump against somthing.Now on a second note I have seen many people say they have a problem with the built in screen protector. I personally havent. The protector has worked very well, and if your like me and are on an OCD level of device cleanliness then it will work just fine. However if you feel thge B-I protecter is either lacking or just not doing it for you, one of my peronal trusted sources for any screen protector is SuperSheildz. I have used them for Matte screen protectors for the last 4 years and they come cheap, and in multipacks. Theyre responsive and well made for under $6. Anyways Do NOT let the short one sentence 1-3 star reviews deter you from this absolutely amazing case with Otterbox Lvl protection for 1/5th the price.

+ Secure grip, don't feel like I'm going to drop it. Doesn't slip around too easy as some cases do when on a dash or table. Never a good idea to put a cell on a dash though. Buttons work perfectly. Kick stand is stiff when first used, but really works well and doesn't feel flimsy. Looks really cool and techie.- Screen protector floats just above actual screen and allows dust and particles to get between them. Screen protector is VERY hard to take off to clean and seems like it could easily be broken during the process. It is plasticish and maybe could get dull after long use or if left in the sun, don't really know as yet, but a small concern. My phone works perfectly fine with it though I have heard that is not always the case. I will probably just remove the screen protector (not the frame) and use a glass one if this one does not hold up, so no real beg deal to me at all. And the only other thing I may do is remove the cover (tabs) that go over the headphone and charging port. The are SUPER stiff and press against the cords causing them to offset which could really be problematic over time. Could ruin the cords or even the ports. Despite these two issues I really love this case and don't consider it a problem to change the screen protector out and carefully cut the tabs off. A couple minutes or less and these two issues are resolved and good to go. The case itself is the best I have had yet and I feel confident it should last for sometime. The ironic thing is the tabs are stiff because they are thick and great quality, lol. And the screen protector works really great, just a dust collector though. Still, it's a keeper for sure. If anything happened to this one, I would buy another one in a heart beat.

When I first opened this case up, it felt flimsy and cheap. And it seemed impossible to open it up in order to get the phone into it. I really struggled. I even watched you tube videos by reviewers to try to figure out how they did it. But ultimately, I just had to persevere. Once I got it wrapped around my phone, it felt extremely solid, like armor for the phone. It fit perfectly, and tightly...except for the screen cover. After living with that loose piece of plastic on top of my screen for about a week, I finally struggled to get the case back off the phone, and easily popped the screen out of the cover. I plan to get a real screen protector, but for now it works just fine without it. And I feel like it would be really hard to damage my screen with this case on the phone. The rubber bumpers would cushion just about any fall. The other annoying thing for me was figuring out the kickstand. It took me about a week of pulling on it with pliers, always worried I was going to break it, before it finally opened up. Now it slides up and down pretty easily, and I use it more like a pop socket than a kickstand - something to loop my finger through so I can grip it more easily. It isn't comfortable for that, but it works. So, overall, this case is strong and feels like it will really protect my phone. I only dropped a star because it was so hard to use and that "screen protector" is too loose and makes your phone less responsive.

The phone case is rough n durable the built in screen protector isnt great but it does work it has already saved my phone from scratches from my pocket knife being in the same pocket as my phone you have to press harder to text or anything but its not that big of a deal the kick stand was really hard I pop out the first time but after that first time it falls out with the slightest bump to it again not that big of a deal the ports to plug in the USB type c plug and the head phone jack is perfect on this case the case doesnt interfere with signal or anything like that the buttons for power n volume are very clicky and are in perfect placement its not a perfect case but its a very good one I would recommend this case to anyone that asked
