Slightly tricky to install but not that bad. Near OEM spec!
Amazing that you can find these at near OEM specification. The outer tab is exact even with the tiny curve on the silver accent line. It goes down by the way (the curve on tab accent). Most of the issue with installing these is the tool. I had two of them to use but there is not that much to grasp and hold in a specific manner. If it had a tiny attachable wood handle it would be a breeze. The trick is to install it above the target horizontal slat/louver (2nd from bottom) ensuring the prongs are on the little control bar. You want it to fall down on an angle to align flat with the back of the slat with the tool then just retain some pulling force and angle the little bar tool to the side though its not necessary. Just hold it there. With the rear section then held flush against the back of the slat carefully slide the tab over the slat aligning it then pull with the tool and press the tab. You'll hear a click but ensure the other side is clicked in as well by moving the tool and checking in the same manner.I had to do this twice because I accidentally installed the old one the first time. The key is getting it flush with the back of the slat then sliding on the tab using the tool to pull/clip it in. It will want to sit perfectly on the back of the slat so you just need to hold that position and have enough hand strength to hold the tiny tool and provide backing support when attempting to clip it together. In my opinion these are incredible value because without these you must substitute for another tab type which works but will limit original movement. That and you save the potential cost of new vent assemblies when only one piece is failed. Added in the fact you can indeed install these without having to remove trim.I've done some apprentice work in the field and I'll tell you while it is do-able. Removing trim pieces introduces the potential for additional damage to occur! You may fall under the impression it is tricky to install this little tab backing clip thing but removing the entire vent assembly is actually much more work.Any improvements would be to perhaps solidify the one prong and maybe provide a small wooden handle which the tool could be slid into removed and flipped.Big thanks for providing these!Super fast on the shipment!

fit perfectly in my 2007 BMW 328xi - looks as good (if not better) than the original stock tabs
Perfect match - looks/feels exactly like the stock vent tabs. Installation is quick and easy and it comes with a metal took needed to snap the back piece to the front piece (the metal tool in the picture is included, the small needle-nosed pliers are not - you'll need some of those for this install job - $3 at Harbor Freight). You do NOT need to remove the vent or trim from the car (unless you want to) to install it. You MUST remove the old/broken vent tab AND the back piece which may still be floating around inside the vent. Use small needle-nosed pliers to carefully insert the inner piece where it goes (obvious if you have some common sense - or go watch a Youtube video). Then slide in the front piece, then use the metal took to pull the inner piece while you gently push on the front piece (on each side) and you'll hear/feel it snap together (you need to hear two snaps - one on each side). That's it.

Not what I expected...
They are exact replicas to the originals, which actually is a problem. You literally need to do a full disassembly of the dash and vents to replace these, which would take way too much time. I with is was possible to have some sort of tool that allowed you to snake in the clips and press the tab on so a full disassembly, but after an hour of trying to figure out a method I just gave up.

Easy install tool didn’t work - No video
The air vent tab works, just like the factory. The look is identical. There finish is not as good as there is a sharp edge on the metal trim. Not that bad.Installation requires pulling the dash apart. The “easy installation tool” I could not figure out. I could not find a video on how to use it. The videos on YouTube are helpful. Best if you pull the full vent apart which allows you easy access and piece of mind it’s put together correctly. No issues since installed.

Its Fine, But..
As others have mentioned, because this is an OEM replica, the design flaw remains even with these replacements. Installation is NOT difficult as some have mentioned. Use the tool provided and it will make things easier. Granted, installation isnt easy, BUT you dont need to disassemble the dash as the top reviewer mentioned. Im docking another star because the silver trim piece is a matte silver finish, rather than a shiny "chrome-like" finish that was on my E93. I transferred the shiny piece from my original broken vent tab and installed it on this replacement tab. It doesn't fit all the way in place, so its not a perfect fit, but it does the job.Overall, I'd say this is an acceptable replacement tab to replace broken vent tabs.

Works on the BMW E90 LCI..
Installed these on a 2011 BMW E90, and they work as intended. 4 stars since I had to figure out how to install them (no instructions). Then they aren't as "solid" when moving them as OE were, but works fine for what it needs to do. Vents are back to normal and don't need to buy the WHOLE units (it fixed two) from the dealership.

Worked Great in my E93 M3. I took apart the vent.
It is much easier to install if you take apart the vent. Being patient and careful, it is easy to pop off the vents from the trim and disassemble each holding clip.Quality feels stronger than OEM. Nice easy fix.

Easy to install. Looks exactly like the original OEM
The BMW dealership wanted $100.00 to replace the broken vent tab. This product took 5 seconds to install, looks identical to the original and very fair price. Highly recommend
