The tree is very easy to put together and is half the weight of our old tree but is just as sturdy. Each section plugs into the next with one plug. Each end has extra female plugs just like a two-prong extension cord just in case you want to add lights or lighted ornaments.My wife is 4'10" and 87 pounds. She wanted to do it all by herself. She opened the stand (very sturdy) and put the base section in it. When the hold screw was tightened there was no wiggle. Then she simply plugged the next two sections on top and unfolded the branches. This all took about 10 minutes from right out of the box.She was amazed at how light the sections are compared to our old tree. Yet it's every bit as sturdy. The bottom was a little heavy for her, but she managed just fine. The branch tips are dense with needles and stay in place when spread out. The lights are well placed, and you don't see wires hanging all over. Care was taken to place the string so that you really have to look for the wires.After a couple hours of getting all the branch tips just right it was done and time for the ornaments. After another couple hours it was done. Absolutely beautiful and she loved every minute of it because it was so easy for her to set up all by herself.

I really love this tree! This is my first artificial tree and I couldn't be happier. The 7ft tree was the perfect fit in my apartment and the lights are beautiful. It's nice and full and was pretty easy to assemble, I was able to do it all myself. It was nice and sturdy and proven to be good against a cat. I just took it down for the season and it stored nicely in the tree bag that I purchased for it. I think it has great value for the money.

I am very pleased with this tree! I picked the 7ft instead of 6.5ft because I've read that that last .5 ft is often only found in the one strand to hold the angel/star up. This 7 ft is accurate with this tree, as the part of the tree beneath the "angel holder branch" hits right at the top of my front window, and the tree is still very full up top around the 6.5 mark. I really like the fullness of the tree, and it looks nice when fluffed. The lights are red, green, blue, purple-pink (it really is like a fuchsia), and yellow. To me, the yellow and red catch your eye the most in this tree, but all the colors are very nicely spread out.BEWARE, though, the other reviews aren't kidding about the tree scratching you. I thought that was nonsense and had no issues putting the tree up and fluffing up a bit to test it out (I took it back down, because it was summer). However, the weight of the middle portion almost knocked me over when I went to take it down, and I'm an average-size woman, so this tree puts up a fight. The "leaves" fought back when I tried to press all the parts back together to fit into the box. I had numerous scratches on my hands and arms from this. Definitely wear thicker, long-sleeved clothing when taking it down.Also, the little screw for the base is supposed to align with a little plastic/rubber hole when you put the base together. I never saw this and broke the little plastic part. Tree held in place fine, though, and I'm too lazy to ask for another.

It’s very deceiving when you first get it. I thought it was scrawny, but you have to take the time to fluff it. It’s a good tree, in depth color for the price. Placement of the lights are good too.

I am pleasantly surprised by this tree. Easy to set up. Lots of bright lights. Branches are strong and open and spread nicely once you work with it for a bit.

Very nice cheap and easy tree.

The tree just isn’t worth the price. I’m very disappointed in this purchase. The tree tips are sharp and they look cheap. I had on work gloves and still my forearms are very scratched up. The unfolding and fluffing process took me about 2 hours for it to look full. I tested the lights upon opening and immediately after it was fully assembled the middle section of lights wasn’t working. I adjusted one of the bulbs and it worked for two days until now and the whole tree is out. If I was able to I would just take all of my ornaments off of it and go buy a new tree but it’s too late for that now and I’m stuck slapping lights on this one.

Beside the fact this tree takes an enormous amount of time to “fluff” a year later, the lights on the bottom stopped working. Sad. Not even a year old.
