Great polisher
This is a heavy polisher. It is well made and they supply two extra brushes for the motor. Instructions are easy to read and understand, unlike many made in China. It should hold up well to car polishing. They sent it in a single box which was damaged when I found it outside my door. I carefully checked the polisher for damage and there was none. Like I said, it is solid and heavy. The assortment of pads they sent are really well made and will work well.

I didn’t think it would work but I was wrong.
I just got this the other day and it definitely did a great job on my wife’s charger, had gotten a bunch of scratches from our goats jumping in the hood, what I found that worked best for me when using turtle wax buffing compound was that I sprayed with a spray bottle a mist of water on the hood after the compound was applied on the hood, it seemed to make the buffer work better on the hood and I did the work in a shaded spot out away from the sun.

good buy
I used this on my pick up truck that I was repairing. I ran it over the whole truck for three cuts with compound, two cuts with polish, and a buffing cut. On a real low speed the motor gets pretty hot, I was running it for a few minutes then letting it cool down. At one point it started to smoke a little and I figured it was done, I Iet it cool down and it was ok. After that I found it was better to run it a little on the faster side. I ran it at about 1.5 and it didn't get too hot, I was able to run it for as long as I wanted. Running on 1 wasn't good about 1.5 was much better.

Affordable quality! Perfect for RV
It's a good value! Comes with pads and even includes a extra set of brushes to keep it going for job after job. I bought this polisher to help polish my 30' motorhome. I'm very satisfied with the quality, I like the variable speed control and I liked the spare parts and pad selection that came with.

Good variable speed buffer/sander
Good variable speed buffer/sander. Used it to buff and polish vehicles and boats and sanding various larger projects and it is still working good. For the price, it would be hard to find a better variable speed buffer/sander. Only drawback is the 7 inch pads. Order the 6 inch pads, much easier to find expendables, like sand paper and polish applicators, in 6 inch than it is for 7 inch.
