Woodstock W1042 2-1/2-Inch Universal Dust Port

Purchased this for a sanding project. My shop vac hose fits snuggly and does not loosen while inj use.

Great for DIY Cyclonic Dust Collection build. Better and easier than making your own port. Fits 2.5 in. shopvac hose.

As described - I used two of these for a Thien Cyclone Separator Baffle - Look it up. The cyclonic action works so well. I sand a lot of drywall mud and the dust is super fine. The bucket captures most of it so I don't have to cleanout the main Rigid shop vac very often.

I've bought 2 of these and both were made with great quality. They have thick walls and a solid flange (with 4 mounting holes). I've been using this hose: "2 1/2" x 50' CLEAR PVC DUST COLLECTION HOSE BY PEACHTREE WOODWORKING PW369" and it slips on nice and snug without much need for clamps. I recommend these ports.

I'm not done setting it up yet but I can tell already it should work out nicely!! I'm building a dust collection for my standing drill press. The dust port hooks right up to my shop vac. Im not a professional and can't afford a big dust collection system. This the best I could do for my set up!!!

This dust port does exactly what it is supposed to do. I am using it on a home-built router table fence on my Grizzly 1023SLW. With the angle it is set at, I put it directly above the router bit, and am able to angle the hose over the side.I use a Woodstock W2046 and a 2 1/2 inch hose to plug into my dust collector.

I finally got and installed this on my Grizzly belt disk sander. Never knew why it didn't come with one on it. Well after years of messing around; I finally got this dust port, cut the hole in my shrowd on the sander and installed this quality gaged and looking dust port. I highly recommend it. Stong.

Works fine with my 16 gal Sears Craftsman wet and dry vac. You need to really seal a large openings around a table saw for it to get most of the saw dust.
