I own the L’Oréal steam pod and now this one, this one feels better made, more solid and I hope durable as my Steam pod broke.

I have very long, wavy to curly hair with medium thickness.I am upgrading from the Paul Mitchell Ion straighteners ($100+).The quality is great and it has more features than I was anticipating. Not only is it a beautifully designed product, it also delivers results as promised. For me it only took one pass to straighten a rather large section. I have not used other steam straighteners before but I feel this one is superior to them all. This straightener has something most of them don't and that is the 40mL water tank. I never had to stop and refill the tank. I know it doesn't skimp on the steam either because I almost used the entire amount and it was obvious with the results. My hair has not been this silky or shiny since I attended cosmetology classes where we had access to the salon stuff. This is much healthier than traditional flat irons in my opinion. My hair looks healthier after using it and the style has held after sleeping on it. It is durable too because it fell on the floor and was fine lol. It is returnable and backed by a 2 year warranty so I am not worried. The only bad thing about this product is the instruction manual which has since been updated. Even though the instructions were hard to understand I didn't get electrocuted and the hair straightener is still in good shape so I would say the product usage is pretty straightforward. It was a lot easier to use than I expected and is surprisingly easy to maintain as well. I'm not used to large/bulky tools, but I adjusted to this very quickly.I did some research about the origin of this product because I see it available from multiple sellers. Mkboo was the only seller I trusted because they offer a warranty and were the most professional out of everyone else I asked. The customer service is phenomenal and I would not buy this item elsewhere. After purchasing this product I've found that I love their brand and I can't wait for their other products to become available here on Amazon.

Came in exactly as advertised. I was worried it would be cheap construction. But it looks and performs as advertised. Loved how easy it is to set up and use. It is heavier than I expected. Heavier than my professional hair blow dryer, so be prepared and plan where to lay it while you steam, because it is not flat shaped. I accidentally bumped it off a table and it fell on the floor. No damage at all. Pretty sturdy unit.I practiced maneuvering it while still cool. I then did a couple of strands on myself on mid low temperatures. Not impressed and decided to try another time again. Next day I convinced my teen daughter to let me use it on her. What a great result!!!:It worked best at mid high temperature with my daughter’s hair, which is thicker than mine. I used a heat protectant on each hair section before the steam. Left her hair very silky and shiny. I passed multiple times, and it got better and better. Absolutely no hair damage. No burnt hair smell or anything like that. Very pleased with the results on her hair.My hair is fine and long. Didn’t make mine as silky as my daughter’s. I will try again at different heat levels.I took out the comb. It tangled the hair. I used a round brush with my other hand instead, traveling ahead of the steamer.In general, I am happy with this unit because it is good quality for the price. But will give myself more time before I give it that fifth star.

The media could not be loaded. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS STRAIGHTENER IT HAS DONE NOTHING BUT WONDERS! I’ll let y’all see the pictures the speak for themselves. My daughter has very corse hair and it straighter her hair so wonderfully! Her hair stays straighten for a least a week!

I’ve been searching for a year to find a great steam flat iron. This product has surpass my expectations. I’m basically natural. I removed my crochet and wanted to give my hair/scalp a break. It’s like I have a perm without chemicals. Sorry I didn’t take a before picture, I was so excited when the delivery arrived. I’ll post pic when I wash my hair again.The only con it’s bulky. But I learn quickly to hold and use the flat iron.

This product has strands of hair sticking out of it. The black plastic on the back side is scuffed from usage, and the tank has water in it. I purchased a NEW hair straightener, but obviously received a USED product that was returned by another customer. Disappointed. Will be returning for a full refund.

I used this steam iron on my daughter who is African American and Caucasian. Here hair is 4-A texture. Her hair was prestretched and the only product I put in her hair was a small amount of Ion serum from Sally’s for heat protection. I used the iron at 410 though I know her hair will turn out sleeker at 450 because I wanted to decrease heat damage. Attached pictures are of her hair.I also used this steam iron on my hair. I’m African American. My curl pattern is 4b/c (depending on location). My hair had already been straightened, so I used as a touch up. I used the heat at 450 degrees. I didn’t note any real difference from my Hot Tools iron that has no steam. It wasn’t any softer. Same amount of breakage and burned smell. I was NOT a fan of the attached comb that was NOT heat resistant (which floors me). No one wants melted plastic from their flatiron in their hair.
