Classroom Assessment: Principles and Practice that Enhance Student Learning and Motivation

Had initially rented this book for a master's course, but went back to Amazon and bought it! Sooo much pertinent information on assessments, how, why, when, fairness, etc. Was crunched for time when I rented, so bought it so that I can go back and dig deeper.

Rented this for a graduate class, it has some good material but isn’t something I feel the need to keep in my library. What we discussed in class was enough for me.Book was decently written, many good pints, but author violates many of his own test prep rules in his sample tests. My prof actually had one of our exams be to identify 15 errors he makes in the book.

Great content. This book is filled with incredible content and well written. The digital download format basically renders all of that completely useless as it is basically a scan of each actual page and not a digital download. I would say if you like to read on your phone forget it. The scanned pages of this book is useless unless you have a tablet. The digital scan doesn't allow you to flip pages as any other Kindle download might. Since it is a generic scan of the books pages you cannot even see the text in the book without magnifying each page using two fingers to bring it toward you (each and every single page). Then to turn the page you have to decrease the size in order to flip the page (errrrrrgh!). I use Kindle for many actual digital downloads and any text book offering. Most are incredibly easy to use. I love to have all of my books with me all of the time so I can read anywhere. With a real digital download I can usually bookmark pages, add notes, or color coordinate content by highlighting passages. You cannot to anything if that sort at all with this download. It is not digital text it's a scan of the whole page. The description should state "Scan of individual pages" and not digital download as this imply that the content has been converted to an actual digital text format.

This textbook is required for one of my college classes, to be honest it is not my favorite. It is a typical pearson textbook.....
