Reverse Osmosis Replacement Filter Set 5 pcs w/ Filmtec 50 GPD Membrane by Watts

I bought this set of filters for my R.O. system. I wanted all "Watts" brand filters. I read the details for the filters included and even looked at the photograph which shows that the in-line post filter has the Watts label on it. Personally over the years I have bought a few different brands of filters to save money but I have found they don't perform as well where we live.Inside the box that arrived the Membrane is the only filter made by Watts. All the rest of the filters were a brand I never heard of. This is not what I paid for but installed them anyway. These filters are horrible and the water taste bad.I now have bought and changed all the filters with Watts brand except for the membrane.The water tastes very good again.Buyer beware.

I installed my Watts RO system in 2010, and at the same time, purchased two sets of replacement filters and membrane. After replacing the last set in 2017, I had trouble finding a new set of filters where the membrane was made by a US company. These fit the bill perfectly. The DOW membrane and high quality particulate, charcoal and polishing filters fit perfectly. I did a full sanitizing procedure as defined in the manual prior to installing the new filters and membrane. As I did in the past, I had to transfer the fittings from the final polishing filter from the old unit to the new filter. A little clean up of the old Teflon tape and adding new resulted in no leaks. I was impressed that the re-usable tubing push connects are still leak free after 10 years. I was happy to measure only 5 ppm total dissolved solids after my first tank flush, 2 ppm on after the second and I have one more flush to go. Very nice product. I'm glad I bought two sets this time,

Did not came with the fittings for the Color and test filter. I had to buy them separately
