At least one other review mentioned defective seams and stitching. Thought it was just a one-off. Mine was the same - SHOCKING SEWING - one seam burst at top edge and, on inspection inside found the fault extended along two edges. Would very soon give way. This in NOT excellent or top quality as described. The material seems nice but manufacture is extremely poor. I have returned the item. sadly my advice is AVOID.

Very pleased. I read all the reviews and they were mixed. The price is very good. It was delivered earlier than expected. Yes it’s a little darker than in the picture but that could be the lighting. Yes it creases but so does all Egyptian cotton. But I don’t mind that. I think it isn’t so soft due to the texture in the stripes but I like the stripes. So overall I’m very pleased.

I was quite disappointed with this item. I liked the material and also the pattern but won’t buy from this supplier again as the quality of the sewing leaves a lot to be desired. The sewing at the seams is constantly undoing and I have to stitch where it comes loose after every wash. Very poor quality.

Looks lovely, super quality cotton no flaws in the fabric like you get in cheaper cottons it’s fab, only down side is that it creases easily, I ironed it and it looked lovely but once my son has sat on his bed it’s all wrinkled and they don’t fall back out

I think this is secondsThe stripes were going across instead of downwards so not very happy at all.I brought oxford pillowcases extra too & the stitching is basic.I think it's important to state that a product has imperfections so its a choice you make instead of getting it & having that feeling of you've just been had!!!

Excellent value for money, super soft material, been sleeping like a log since I got these

The material is good, but not soft. My daughter (who is 3) asked me: why is this duvet (cover) so 'dry'?The fabric is not thin, and I like the design, but it is just not as soft as I expected. I did wash it with conditioner / softener.

Very nice duvet set looks very smart on the bed
