Overall, I like the concept, comfort, and durability of these. I bought 3 different colors/styles for our kids new water bottles upon going back to school. My 10 year old son came home after the first day excited to tell me, “Mom! My water bottle handle has a cool knife on it!”. Imagine my shock. Obviously, we’re looking at a little blade here and I trust my 10 year old, but that is not cool in school and I can’t trust everyone else. No where in photos or the description does it mention this feature. I checked the other two styles I bought and they do not have this. My review would change entirely if this was disclosed in the description and pictures. So, if you’re purchasing for a child, be aware. Perhaps this is only on the styles with the compass? Hopefully the seller is aware and updates the description and photos.

I have a 32 oz Hydro Flask with a straw lid and this makes it way easier to carry around. When my roommate first saw it, she thought it was funny that I thought I needed a handle, but after a day she decided she wanted to order one herself. Also, I'm convinced that I can now use my Hydro Flask as a weapon in case of an emergency. This thing gives you some great leverage to swing it around.

I love my pretty Hawaiian Shaved Ice Hydro Flask and wanted a pretty paracord handle. It makes carrying my water bottle so much easier and I'm less likely to drop it. This one is perfect!This is my 3rd Hydro Flask that I've put a paracord handle on. It's not an easy feat. Put the black paracord section around the wide mouth of the bottle, under the metal lip. Then I like to use the area with the hole to help me pull the hard part in. Since the first half is easy to get on, I put the section without the hole on, then I help pull it over the other side pulling the tab with the hole so I have something to grip. It often takes me a few tries to get these on. Once it's in it's very secure though!One thing to keep in mind is this is light colored, so after a few months mine is looking a tiny bit dirty. Overall this is so pretty, very secure and a great accessory to my cute water bottle.

I have one of these for an older hydroflask 2018-2019 model and I love it. I get asked about it a lot. So when I receive a new 2020 hydroflask for my birthday I knew I wanted to buy a paracord for it. Unfortunately it does not fit. Make sure you choose one that is compatible with the 2020 design, I never realized there was a difference.You can see in the profile pictures that the hole for the carabiner to fit through is down and won’t stick out from the water bottle as it is supposed to. This occurs no matter how it is adjusted on the hydroflask.

PARENTS BEWARE. This is not a product for children. There is a flint fire starter hidden in the clip. The product description did not include a fire starter nor did any instructions come with the item. My elementary school age daughter was suspended from school today for having this water bottle strap in school. A peer had told her it had a flint starter and demonstrated its use for her. We are not campers and had no idea that this water bottle strap included a fire starter and neither was she aware. My daughter and her friends discovered this and played with it. A child told the principal (and rightly so) and my daughter got a suspension for not turning it in when she realized what it could do (and rightly so). We are relieved that is all that happened and that all the children are safe and uninjured. Please be aware this is not for kids. There are so many of these products on the market, I shudder to think of how many are in the schools, on airplanes, and no one knows or even knows what to look for. We ordered this as an accessory to make the water bottle easy to carry...never knowing we were handing potential danger to our child and possibly her friends.

This strap exceeded my expectations... the picture truly doesn't do it justice. I got it because I loved the color but I was worried it would be flimsy (in the pic it didn't look very durable), but when I opened the package I was so surprised! the strings were a lot thicker than pictured and the colors were even more beautiful! The ring was fairly easy to put on my wide mouth Hydro Flask. Im so happy I decided to get this one.

The media could not be loaded.  Fits my 50oz Hydrapeak wide mouth perfectly.Hard to put on the first time, but after that it gets easier. Super sturdy, can flap my full bottle around and doesn't budge.Compass is accurate, no complaints there.The firestarter works as intended. It does have a protective layer, just takes a few scratches to get to the firestart-y part. You do need to use the back of a knife or scissors to make it work though.It also comes with two other features not listed in the description. One is a whistle and the other is a mini metal saw.
