Perfect fit and no noise.
I installed these on my 2013 silverado 2500hd. Bolted right up. No problems. You must lift your vehicle from the frame so the tires hang down giving you enough stretch to easily install the shocks. Man, what a difference. My old shocks where worn out. I could feel the stiffness in my ride with these, but not overly stiff. They make NO noise. Look great and gave my truck maybe a half inch in ride height. The truck doesn't bounce, shimmy or anything else. When I go over bumps or lips in the road surface I no longer get any mechanical noise. I can't say enough how happy I am with these shocks. I'll buy them again when the time comes.

no more squatting when towing
fairy easy install on a 2021 chevy silverado 1500 W/T we pull a 16 foot enclosed trailer with 2 polaris atvs and no more squatting when driving down the road. great shocks with coil overs have a firm but comfortable ride when not towing trailer...great price and fast shipping.

Is doing the job, right?
Put them on a 1969 Oldsmobile 442 convertible and they worked just fine. Give the car the proper writing height, which is very important to me Chuck.

Enhanced Stability and Control for my 1996 Ford Ranger
I recently upgraded my 1996 Ford Ranger with these coil-over shocks from Amazon, and the results have been impressive overall. The fit was spot-on, instantly transforming the handling dynamics of my truck. One of the most noticeable improvements was the enhanced stability. The coil-over shocks provided a significant boost in control at higher speeds, making my Ranger feel more planted and responsive on the road. The steering and stopping capabilities were notably improved, contributing to an overall safer and more enjoyable driving experience. However, there were a couple of aspects that caught my attention. While the fit was excellent, the ride did become a bit rougher. It's a trade-off for the increased stability, and I found it acceptable for the performance gains.Another concern was the plastic coil spring retainer. It didn't instill the same confidence as the other components. Although it didn't affect the performance, I would have preferred a more robust material for added durability. In terms of the driving experience, the upgrade undeniably made my truck feel newer. The control and responsiveness added a modern touch to the driving dynamics, and I appreciated the overall improvement in handling. In conclusion, these coil-over shocks are a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to breathe new life into their older Ford Ranger. The noticeable improvements in stability, control, and the truck's overall feel make it a solid choice. Despite a slightly rougher ride and the plastic retainer, the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks. I would recommend these shocks to fellow Ranger owners seeking an upgrade for a more engaging and secure driving experience.

Made My '79 Jeep J10 Feel Like A Truck Again
I'm very happy with these shocks so far. Like some of the other reviews say they firmed up the ride and made the steering control come back into shape. My truck's ride isn't at all too firm now, it feels like an actual pickup again instead of a child's cheap carnival ride. You will definitely, as another reviewer mentioned, need a hookless ratchet strap to set them into place because with the coil-overs you'll never compress these great shocks by hand but it's super easy to use the hookless strap. I only needed the ratchet strap for the rear. Don't worry, it's easy to do. It took me maybe 2.5 hrs to do all 4 shocks. Bottom line, I am very happy with these shocks. My truck now feels like a truck instead of a twitchy college student on Adderall.

Excellent
My truck rides great. When I take off the truck does not sag down and then go it just takes off and it changes lanes with very little sway. I was afraid the ride would be stiff but it's not. It handles my trailer great

Skeptical.....But Satisfied.
****Original review, update at bottom****Yes, I was very skeptical being the first one to write a review on this. Actually I was skeptical on having to be the FIRST one to write a review. If you are like me, and are on amazon, the reviews make a heck of a difference in what you purchase and how you make your orders.I took a chance. I figured stock shocks and a prime membership, If I didn't like them after a couple of days, take them off, and send them back.Installation was pretty simple, except for the ability to jam my forearm between the axle and break line trying to break the bolts upside down. Just a note: I'm no mechanic. Jack the frame up and let the leaf springs rest and then disconnect the shocks, and install. Don't be like me, and think you need to compress the shocks to get them in. I did that on one side before the light bulb went off. Put it on jack stands and let the shocks release to full length.Second. The coil isn't that thick....didn't really bother me to much, but the housing that the coil sits on is a very hard plastic. THIS IS WHY 4 STARS. I'm not ready to give it five until I don't think that piece is going to break off. ****Update BELOW*****The stock made the ride a ton smoother, and handled turns, bumps, and highway speeds with no problems. Once satisfied, I asked my brother to hop in the back of the truck and test out the weight capacity. Much improved. I'll definitely not go over manufacturer's recommended weight, but carrying normal weights seemed much less sag. Will Update soon when I determine the longevity of this housing. other than that, If you're looking for something relative cheap and worthwhile, I would recommended this.****UPDATE 2/2016******So in this time frame, I've moved apartments twice, and moved into a house. That being said, my pickup truck has seen an above average usage in this time frame. These shocks have been nothing but ample for everything I've used them for. The plastic housing is very suitable and heavy duty for the usage. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a great shock for the vehicle, and moving my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars.
