Streamlight74614 Strion DS HL 700-Lumen Rechargeable Flashlight with 12-Volt DC Charger, Black

Light & accessories fine, function as advertised. But only get a four-star, because I didn't get the wall-plug USB-converter---only the 12 volt pigtail.Appeared to me that this particular one was maybe a return, since packaging(in the light's original box)was VERY-'disturbed', unsealed, and NO-USB wall-plug. Didn't even take the time to fold-in one of the side-flaps of the box.Fortunately, I had a few left-over adaptors from previous-endeavors that used the same-'slow-charge' voltage & plug, so all is/was good in the end. (Yeah, I know all about warranties, and how they "expire-upon-payment-of-invoice", so no-sweat lost here.)Tough, and good-quality, but still nowhere near what you started out selling in the 70's. I'd bought many Streamlight-products back then whilst in the Fire-Service, and they would still be in-service today, had not everyone-insisted upon "smaller/lighter is better". Old ones made SUPER-emergency window-breachers, and frozen-hose uncouplers, lol...!

The light seems sturdy, this is my first streamlight product.However, the charger mount leaves a little bit to be desired.If you are hoping for a 100% contact rate mount, where you don't have to verify that it is charging each time you put the light down, this isn't the light.It does have a triangle indent to help with alignment, but it is not foolproof. so If your light is dead, and you stick it in the charger in your glove box or tool box and don't confirm the light is on and steady on the charger, the next time you go to use it, it may be dead. If you are willing and able to always make sure the contacts are touching and the charging light is active, then this light will be perfect for you.

This is my second strion. These are amazingly well crafted lights and tough as nails. I work on a drilling rig, and used my first strion at work for years. Left it in my pockets and put it in the washing machine on accident several times. Just dried it out and it kept right on going. Would still have it if it wasn’t stolen.

A lot smaller than I expected, but mother of God is it bright! Doesn't last as long as I'd like on full power, but most have no real use for that level of brightness, unless you are searching from a helicopter for escaped convicts in the woods. Fantastic little flashlight. Fits easily in my pocket and in my very congested toolbox. Just wish it came with a wall charger as well as the vehicle charger.

Ridiculous that the build a $150 flashlight that you cant put a lanyard on.The flashlight is bright, but the people that built it aren't.

Great flashlight but I am having alot of trouble finding a holder that fits it that is not open bottom which causes it to turn on while on my duty belt.

Great flashlight buy them for the whole family lasts decent time easy to charge dropped many times no issues

I have always used Streamlight flashlights. Great brightness, durability, and battery life.
