given the time span this book covered, it did a good job condense the vast amount of history into a short summary that is still fun to read.

The content of this book is perfectly qualified as a textbook for adolescents. I love it and the personal opinions of the late author.thank god I bought it when it was 70 dollars.

this book is very thick which surprised me. but it is a very nice book, worth to have one. It would be better if it was cheaper~~130USD is a bit expensive.

I bought this book as a gift for my friend. Obviously he loved this book.

The content of this book is good at least I think so. But the printing quality is really BAD. Pictures are blur and words in maps are hard to recognize. I've saw this book in library printed beautifully with coated paper, but this one makes me feel disappointed at this price. I even doubt that this is a pirate book.

History books should be engrossing, thought provoking and colorful This book is dull and boring from the minute you open the front cover. I truly hope this is no longer assigned to any students anywhere.
