Microsoft Office Home & Business 2019 | One-time purchase, 1 device | PC/Mac Download

I just bought a the 2019 Microsoft Office Package for my NEW Windows 10 pc. I am extremely disappointed that the download you gave me was only the 2016 version for Windows 8. This is really unacceptable, Amazon! The new 2019 version is for Windows 10. Did you think I would not notice?

Not at all worth the $220 price tag. I recently purchased a new PC for my wife to conduct her online business and figured I might as well upgrade her from the MS Office 2010 I've been using for years. Aside from a few 'neato' functions in Outlook and a more graphic heavy menu bar, I see no benefit to upgrading to this software.I also had several issues trying to download and install the software. Once you order from Amazon you're given a link to Office.com which will request you set up an account to install your software. Your key will be automatically linked to your Microsoft account , but if you click the "install office" link on the top right of your Office.com webpage it will say your Key "has already been used". The correct link to use is under "my account" then click "subscriptions & services". There you will have a down load link to install your product. This purchase was much more convoluted than it had to be and I regret even buying it.

A nightmare of a purchase.You need a Microsoft account or you can't use the product. Nowhere does it say anything about this until after you waste $250 and lots of personal time. The program is intentionally crippled once you sign out of the Microsoft account too because they want to use their subscription service Office 365.Once Microsoft have your money Amazon and Microsoft could give two ****s what you think or do. There's no refund at all ever after you buy this. It's hoop after hoop for a paying customer to even get this trash up and running. Meanwhile pirates probably stripped all this crap out and gave non-paying people a better product than Microsoft can.You can not use Outlook at all before signing away your rights because they want as much personal info as possible to sell to third parties, just like Windows 10. I'm not giving you my phone number or date of birth you creeps. If you want to use a 3rd party like Gmail in Outlook, you have to give Microsoft permission to access almost everything in your Google account for whatever they want. There is NO WAY to know this before you buy the product. Older versions of Office just let you use IMAP STMP POP and be done. Not this time!For some reason it keeps asking me to activate "Pro Plus" even though it's a different version to what I bought. There's also inconsistencies, bugs, and oversights. Oh, and you can only use this on Windows 10. Microsoft has been doing everything they can to get people to use their dystopian dragnet of telemetry data for that sweet, sweet, immoral cash. Yes, even Office is siphoning your computer's data. Even though you just spent hundreds, you're still nothing but an object to exploit.Only buy this if you like Microsoft spitting in your face endlessly.

The Word document program keeps going blank while I'm typing on a document (as if it's thinking) every 5 minutes, and then my Word document appears again.

I had already read through almost all of the reviews before I made this purchase. The software is for a new Dell PC with Windows 10. I am not a "Cloud" person, so while I would have preferred the actual media. However, that is no longer happening. The Amazon price is excellent, and is the same as the Costco price.Note (Update): New computers are often shipped with a 30-day "Trial" version of Microsoft Office. In my case my system was primarily focused on the Office 365/subscription version, which was not my preference. Before purchasing and installing any new version of Microsoft Office, Uninstall the "Trial" version that was shipped with your new computer.Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features > Microsoft Office (I believe that there were two on my system, one for Office, the other for Office 365) > Uninstall. I made a leap-of-faith and used Windows 10 to download the software from the Microsoft website. It worked perfectly. The download required about five to seven minutes.Afterwards I launched all of the apps (Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Word) to test the application functionality (I actually opened an existing document using the app) and confirm that the software was "Activated". All of the apps worked well and all had already been automatically "Activated".So far, so good.I have not had to contact Microsoft Technical Support, yet. Additionally, this Office software cannot be upgraded to the next version when Office 200X is released. However, if it lasts five to six years, I'll repeat the process when it's time to replace/upgrade/refresh my new Dell PC.

Does not work with any previous versions of Windows and it is near impossible to buy a version online that is compatible due to this being released. Be careful when purchasing.

Have follow all screen instruction multiple time, cannot get this to download to my window 10 pc.Frustrating...

Software download and installation was pretty straight-forward. Unfortunately, I am having many issues with outlook: problems creating my email signature, problems with icloud integration, and more are appearing almost every day since I have installed it. Compared with Outlook 2010, this version is very disappointing.
