Detailed insight on ETFs for professionals
ETFs have changed many aspects of investing in the past decade and this book offers a good, technical overview for professionals who work with ETFs and similar products. The book is not a guide on how to invest, but rather explains the details of ETFs from multiple angles (tax, disclosure, benchmark tracking, dividend policy, investment suitability for different audiences etc.). The case studies offer a flavor of investment startegies that use ETFs to construct portfolios. Those who work with ETFs regularly will find this well written, thoughtful and clearly structured book valuable.

know what you are buying
When you finished this short book you will know every fact about common etf and etn as well as leveraged and inversed ones . I like the strategies but expected more with the cases. I usually bought etf and after reading this book I realize why I made lots of mistakes. Is pretty clear and to the point. I red it in Just 3 days.

Not for novice investors
It appears this book was written for investment advisors. As an individual investor I learned quite a bit but not enough to really come up with a strategy. I am not comfortable with buy and hold, but I didn't get a clear vision of a strategy for entering and exiting positions. At least not one that I have the tools or talent to implement. I rate the book at 3 stars because I was not able to use much of the information. People with more investment savvy may find it more useful.

Very informative!! Simple and to the point, without financial jargon.
ETFs are definitely becoming more popular in the industry (I work in financial services). I found this book to be very useful - he covers topics like ETNs and fundamental ETFs and doesn't make it too complicated. Personally I would have liked to see a section on ETF liquidity, the book could have addressed that in more detail.

Good Read.
I recently started looking at Exchange Traded Funds after my financial advisor mentioned them to me. I had some knowledge of them but wanted to learn more. The author appears to know the subject extremely well and explains the concepts clearly. I would definitely recommend it.

Pretty good book but the reading is not very easy
Pretty good book but the reading is not very easy. Some contents are very useful but presentation of some examples is very readable. It lacks pictures.

Not my favourite
It is just ok. I do not think you will find something you can use unless you do your own research based on strategies explained in this book.It is all basic in general topics that you can find on net without paying a penny, and it is very vague in case studies.
