Good Value and Assortment that Worked for Me
4 stars for overall value not qualityIf you need "Pro" quality look elsewhere.I got the assortment to clean up some scratched knives. I wet sanded using the 1000 - 3000 grits andthat got the job done without too much effort. I needed the assortment for this one time use and did not want to spend much.Quality is OK for light jobs, but definitely not to 3M Pro levels . Paper is Brittle and tends to crack when folding (like when wrapping around a sanding block). Wears out a little quickly.I would buy this again for some lite sanding only.I would not recommend for any heavy sanding,Pros -Inexpensive - Decent valueWide Assortment good number of sheets 45 Sheets .Held up to wet sanding.Cons -Brittle paper tends to crack. Coarse Grits Seemed Brittle. Not durable.Item - 45PCS 9 x 3.6" Silicon Carbide, 80 to 3000

Great grit density but paper tends to crack
Ordered this after getting disappointed with the papers I could get at the local hardware store. Grit is more dense than in typical sandpapers, which gave it excellent power on woods including basswood, elm, maple, birch and ash. Only down side is that, as at least a couple others have noted, the paper tends to be brittle. It tends to start to crack and disintegrate before the grit is worn out. Still, it's better than anything else I've tried short of emery cloth. The tendency to crack is the only reason I didn't give it five stars.Note: I didn't try this in sanding blocks, since I was sanding irregular pieces, but the cracking could potentially be a problem there. I also didn't try it for any wet sanding.

Great for cleaning glass shower surrounds!
These are the only things I’ll use to knock down and clean the nasty, built up soap scum and hard water stains from my glass shower surround. It’s rough enough to do the job but gentle enough to not scratch the glass. When we showed our last house (sold it last August), we got multiple compliments on how clean the glass was. Moved into another home and it was the worst I’d ever seen. Twenty minutes later, the glass looks as good as it did in my last house. Definitely use 2500 grit- any less will risk scratching.
