I looked at a LOT of window candles, both in stores and online. I ended up buying 3 packs of these, and have been very pleased. Yes, they look fake, but I'm not sure what people expect? When I was a kid, we had the plug in.plastic candles with the night light size bulbs - these certainly look more refined than those, and are so much easier to set up and use! The flame color is definitely white, so if you want a warm yellow flame, these aren't for you. The timer function works perfectly, and they look lovely in the windows from both inside and out. They are bright enough on the high setting that I dimmed them, and they can still be seen easily from the street. The flicker function is subtle and a nice touch. I really have no complaints. All of them worked as advertised straight out of the box, and the plastic bases are great for narrower window sills. I chose these over some window candles that were selling for $20 each, because these actually look better. Merry Christmas!

We love these candles, not only for their remote properties, but also because they look real and are made of wax. We also love their ability for having a timer. Great for windows or areas that are higher and more out of reach. We use them in a previous home that had some high windows. Highly recommend.

Received these today. They came packaged extremely well. Each candle was individually wrapped and placed into a sleeve made of bubble wrap. Two candles per box, three boxes inside a larger box with documentation and the remote control.Placing the batteries into the candles was very easy and I love the flickering effect. You can defeat the flickering effect from the remote as well as adjust the lamp intensity. Nice added bonus.I have these in multiple rooms in the windows and the remote control works very well as long as I'm within five feet of the candle. No more trying to figure out how to route power cords, and switching on/off each candle. Simply walk into the room, point the remote at the candle desired and press the on/off button.Didn't rate the battery life, or durability as I have just activated these. I have no doubt that they will function well for a long time (I'll be running these about 4 hours per day). LEDs do not use much power.I also love the way coating! Looks like a real candle but no flame or soot. I would highly recommend these and I will quite possible purchase another six. I can easily cover the whole house with these. One in every window. Maybe even use them as a centerpiece on the dinner table surrounded by balsam boughs.

We are getting too old to put up outside lights at Christmas. We thought these candles might give our home a nice festive look and they were definitely a lot easier to set up than hanging lights. The candles look beautiful in our windows! We bought 12 but if all goes well we may add a few more. So far everything has worked very nicely but it has only been two days. The timer really works. It’s amazing. Set it and forget it! All 12 candles working as expected. My husband likes the flicker mode; he thinks it looks more realistic. I think the candles could be a little brighter when looking from the outside. My husband thinks there is a brighter setting but we haven’t tried it yet. Very happy so far.

For window decoration these 10 inch tall flickering plastic candles look very nice. I was pleased with the quality of the wax coated candles. All arrived individually wrapped in a protective bubble wrap sleeve inside a cardboard box. All worked out of the box. They don't flicker like a real candle (they're not), but for a candle using an led light they look good and are fairly bright. From a distance (like to the road) they appear very realistic. The included remote allows you adjust the "on" time and duration, and if activated at different times the candles "flicker" at different intervals, adding to their realism. The remote had a range of about 10-15 feet. We purchased a dozen of these and they were used 6 hours a day, seven days a week, for a little more than a month. They worked like new the entire time (used two lithium AA batteries in each). The 10" height was perfect for placement on the window sill to be easily seen through the window from the road in front of the house. The bases were stable and we had no candles fall over. Remove the batteries when storing for an extended time to prevent damage. If you are looking for "safe" window candles that look fairly realistic I highly recommend these!

I’ve looked for several years for the perfect battery operated candle stick(s) and finally found them!! Absolutely love them-initially when opening them I thought the candles themselves were more of a cream color than what I was originally expecting and the candle stick holders are a bit cheap looking but not none of that was a deal breaker.These candles are have a wax feel, which I LOVE! And the little flame/wick looks so real! The color of the light is a bright white and can be seen clearly from the road! I LOVE the fact that these have a remote and can be set on a timer-and that you can choose whether or not you want the flame to flicker. So far definitely worth the money and I may even buy another set. I bought these just to set in the windows for winter/Christmas but I think I will leave them up all year!

I bought these, intending to put them in my windows for Christmas decorations. On the plus side, they look okay in person (the wax covering is much better than bare plastic), and the flicker effect is nice. All of the ones I tried worked (I put up a total of 9), and the remote works for all of them (be sure to activate them separately, though, unless you want the flicker to be synchronized). However, I'm not entirely satisfied. The light is not bright enough to be clearly seen (it "glows" more than actually shines), and it has a distinctly cool hue that does not look like a candle (it should be a much warmer/yellow-er color).I am not planning to return them, but if you're looking for a properly bright and colored LED candle, I'd advise looking at a different product.

I got these in 2018 and they are still going strong .you have to be careful with the top as it could easily break if you drop it or knock the end .They give a lovely glow to any table setting or Christmas themeMy only big problem is with looking at them now they are over £70 I got them 3 years ago at £25I would Not pay over £70 for them though like they are now pricedUPDATE 1 year on still going strong 4th November 22

Wir benutzen die Kerzen z. Zt. als Adventskerzen, also 4 Stück. Die Flammen sehen so täuschend echt aus, dass man aus 2 m Entfernung meint, dass hier echte Kerzen leuchten. Wir sind begeistert von der neuen Technik.Schade ist nur, dass es die Kerzen nicht in rot gibt. Dann würden sie noch besser zu Weihnachten passen. Vielleicht kommt das bald noch ? Trotzdem sind es tolle Kerzen und wir freuen uns, dass wir sie haben.

La forme de la flamme et le petit morceau de la mèche sont bien imités MAIS la couleur de la flamme pas du tout. On n'est pas dans le blanc chaud comme prétendu mais c'est plutôt le couleur qui tend vers le blanc plus clair... En tout cas, la différence est ENORME entre la vraie flamme et celle de ces leds : dommage. La photo montre les deux bougies à droite et à gauche, une flamme réelle au milieu et les deux leds avec une flamme vacillante ...

Really happy with these candles. Good value for money compared to other similar ones I've had in the past. Options are easy to set with the small remote - either a constant light or "flickering" glow (which is nice and subtle like a natural candle). You can set the timer for the candles to come on at a regular time and for a set amount of time each day. The only (very minor) drawback is the candles have to be very close together for the remote to work on more than one at the same time, but this was fine - after I set the timer with the remote for a few of them together, I placed them different locations in the house and they worked perfectly in sync. Would repurchase!
