Great book take the time to read the different sections it has great advice

I’ve been crocheting for about a year now and up to this point have just been making things by following YouTube videos. I’m realizing now I’ve never been properly taught and if I want to start creating my own projects I figure I need a better understanding of what I’m doing and why I’m doing things one way instead of another. I’m not finished the book yet but so far I’m finding it’s giving me exactly what I want out of it. I’m excited to get further past the practice exercises of things I already know (but have learned more about and perfected since starting this book) and learn new things after having gained a better grasp of the basics. It’ll be an excellent reference that I know I’ll keep going back to. So glad I bought it!

J'aime beaucoup ce livre. Je m'en étais procuré un autre (500 Crochet Stitches), pensant que j'aurais aussi une bonne section sur les techniques de crochet, mais je le trouvait incomplet. Avoir su, j'aurais pris celui-ci dès le départ ! Vraiment très complet, beaucoup de photos très claires. Une bible !

Beautiful, huge, hardcover book with gorgeous images and colors throughout. It goes into depth on just about everything crochet including yarn types and tools. It has detailed diagrams and explanations of various stitches... Its the only book you really need and I think beginners to advanced will all get something good from this. I felt guilty spending the money when I first ordered it, but now that I have it in my hands I don't regret buying this awesome book one bit.
