We spent months researching playsets. Finally choose this one. The materials are top notch with American Southern Yellow pine lumber. The set is delivered from the manufacturer by truck freight. The shipper took the individual boxes off of the shipping pallet for delivery. They delivered it into my garage! I was concerned that I did not have all the parts but a call to creative playthings verified I had all my boxes.Word of caution. These boxes are HEAVY! VERY HEAVY! The wood is very dense, not like cheaper playsets.Spend time organizing the parts INCLUDING the screws. It will really help in the assembly. Keep all boards in groups according to shipping container as the instructions say things like. Board A1 from Box 1.It took 5 of us 1 and a half days to get it built. Not too bad. Instructions are pretty good. But read at least twice and follow the steps.We are very happy with the results. It is BIG Very BIG! We knew that going in and had the area marked off, but even then we were surprised at how massive it is.Our grandkids are 3 and 6 and cannot get enough!In summary.Very well designedTop quality parts and lumberGreat service from Creative PlaythingsA great value.Highly recommend.

Wonderful product! Very sturdy and real cedar! Definitely ask for help and/or plan for a multi-day assembly. There are no instructions in the boxes and it took a while to find them on the company’s website. Also nothing is labeled. The kit comes with pre drilled lumbar roughly sorted in several boxes (main body, monkey bar, swing set, wood roof) with a carry-on suitcase size bag of nuts and bolts of all sizes and dimensions...It took 14h for two handymen to get this monster together, and the first thing they did was clearly sort all hardware.On the positive side, the set is solid! The handymen were themselves surprised how sturdy it was. I bet they regretted the flat fee they negotiated, because it took much longer than they expected.My kids love it already!

I was originally going to rate this a zero while struggling with Step 2 of the Build. Step 2 is by far the most difficult step. This is due to aligning the pre-drilled holes through 3 boards. DO NOT FIGHT this and attempt to get the HEX bolt assembly though all 3 holes. Many of the holes have shrunk and no longer line up. Simply re-drill the holes with the proper diameter. This will clean out hole and allow the Weld nut to catch the bolt. If you have to hammer the bolt through a hole that is too snug, the weld nut will not be able to allow the bolt to catch the thread. After apply this approach, it went together much easier. Unit is super sturdy and we are very happy with it. Lastly, leave the wood in the box it was shipped in, until you use it as they are NOT labeled. The instructions have a page to let you know what box it is in. Good Luck!

The playset is very well built and sturdy. With multiple kids swinging and playing on the platform it still doesn't move at all. Assembly is time consuming because there's a lot of parts and pieces, but the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Everything was pre-drilled properly, there was only one 2x4 beam missing. I just bought a pressure treated piece myself and stained it to match to finish the build. Creative Playthings sent me some free accessories for the hassle.

i did a lot of research before i purchased this, i read the complaints on other swing sets,most problems were the wood was soft and lots of hardware was missing,and made in china , this is the only set i found that was made in america and the reviews were overall good, the price was higher but i believe you get what you pay for so i purchased the set, it arrived on time and no damage, the instructions were easy to read and it went through step by step, well done photos and descriptions, had friends come over to help ,it went well all hardware was there and the quality was GREAT, hard wood,predrilled holes, all the kids come over to play on it and they love it, i have no complaints,thank you for a great product

So first things first, all the predrilled holes didn’t match up... when I say all.. I mean ALL! The instructions are a little hard to follow as none of the pieces were labeled... wood or hardware. It shows up in roughly 150 wood pieces and about 15 bags with hardware with about 100 pieces a piece... So... it was a bit insane to figure out... However once we did and along the way having to redrill and predrill all new holes we got it together and it’s pretty great... some of the wood split and some screws won’t fully sit flush which I don’t like but it is solid and my kids love it!

I love this swingset. It is a great quality product for the price point. I will advise that you better have tools and some know how if you plan to assemble it yourself. I was able to assemble it in 10 hour by myself but I did just finish renovating my basement, which might help give you a comparison for my technical ability.Definitely a great alternative to the more expensive Creative Playthings sets, at about $5k. When we called the manufacturer they still did indicate it has a 10 year manufacturer warranty but is obviously slightly cheaper wood. Not bad.

This set is sturdy and is by far so much better then anything you get at the big box stores or the others off amazon. I had a gorilla playset before this and it was so cheap and I did not want to get another one. I did a lot of research and this swing set was something I could afford and it was made in America. It is like those per-made very expensive swing sets. I can not say enough about the fact it is real wood and SO STURDY. I have 4 kids who play on it all at once and there isn't any issues.The downside is nothing lines up. I mean 95% of the holes are wrong. We had to drill extra things and use a hammer to get the screws into the holes. If it would have been drilled correctly this swing set would get 5 stars and it would have gone up in a few hours verse the 8-10 it took my husband and I to do.
