K&N 63 Series Aircharger
This unit looks much better than the stock intake. Very large tube with a huge filter.I am only disappointed in the lack of a good seal around the intake tube going into the filter housing. A large gap in between the "gasket" and tube. The sound during acceleration is good and reminds me of the days of a 4 barrel carburetor.I have experienced no drone at cruising speed, but a slight amount when climbing hills and the rpms go up a bit. I have not towed anything heavy, which could result in a constant drone depending on the load. The only reason I purchased this item is the great price from Amazon. The price online at other retailers was almost $100 more.

K&N Intake for 2009 F-1504X4 Supercrew
I was getting between 17 and 19 MPG before installing the new intake system. Now I am getting between 18 and 20. The noise level is the same as before until you need the power with a load on the truck. I do see a big difference in gas millage, if I baby it, and will get up to 23 MPG when driving 70MPH on the level highway over 60 miles total back and forth. It was tough getting 21MPG when driving at 65MPH before the new intake was installed. My next step will be adding dual exhaust, which should give my truck it's best gas mileage.

Not bad
I purchased this for my 2010 F150 xlt supercrew.I already had done a flowmaster super 44 cat back singlein dual out exhaust before doing this and had jumped my mpg up by 1.2 mpg just with that. After recieving the air intake my fuel dropped dramatically my 4 mpg. after giving it about a 3000 mile break in period my fuel rose about 3.2 mpg near where it was before i did any mods. Essentially it did give me a lot more power and made the exhaust a little deeper but did not add any added mpg for me. Ill keep it in the truck though because i like the power and the sound.

Stumbling at low RPM, but like the sound
Not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but I'm getting a low-speed stumble or what may be ECU indecision on what gear to pick since installing the CAI. Will say that it was an easy install, took all of 30 minutes, of course I built a lot of the package (MAF, Filer assembly, etc.) before removing the stock intake which saved a ton of time. Do that if you want to make it easy, following the procedure just seems slow.I'm prolly going to disconnect the battery again and see if the ECU learns something (worked when I installed a Mazdaspeed CAI on the Speed6 I used to own).Still not sure it was worth it, noise is nice, but stumbling between gears is annoying...will update in a month or so, it's been one week today and I don't see any difference in MPG...

As Advertised. Love it!
K&N 63-2575 63 Series Aircharger Intake Kit - Took less than 1 hr to install on my 2010 Ford F150 Lariat - great instructions from K&N and also a video online for reference - makes a very nice sound(howl) as you get up into the RPM's. Prior to the install, my F150 was getting 19MPG Highway, I am now getting 20.8MPG Highway with the K&N installed. Worth the money - couldn't be happier with it. Can't imagine why some folks are unhappy with the sound this unit produces. I drive mostly highway and it is only noticeable when you are on the gas quite hard. After the install, throw all the original parts in a box including the lower middle airbox factory latch that you remove during installation in case you want to put the OEM unit back on. I doubt that will be the case. It rocks. Good Work K&N!

worth the money?
After installing this 63 series in my 2010 f150 with the 5.4liter v8 i still am debating its worth. Power was much improved between 1k and 3k rpm, with not much to brag about beyond that. idle is nice and quiet, full throttle is deeper without the drone like in my 2007 Tundra. Mileage was improved by about half an mpg on average. Installation was a breeze, although i have extensive experience with these types kits. all the necesary hardware was included, and the instructions were pretty well thought out. i was a little disapointed in the above 3k power, it almost feels as if i may have lost some top end torque which is not cool at all. would i do it again, probably not.

WOW what a powerful it creaded.
I installed K&N Cold air intake on my 2010 Ford F-150 Platinum 5.4 engine. WOW after I installed it, i can feel the difference. my full gas tank goes extra 150 miles now on highway. the MPG improved. The torque improved up to 14LB feet. HP increased 13HP. I love the peppy i got from it. when I floor the gas pedal from the stop I can hear the loud roar. The higher RMP the louder that means engine doesn't work hard anymore to speed up the truck. with paper filter it works hard and uses more gas. the town mileage improved too and the pickup is quickly. I am planning on getting dual exhaust for my truck soon. after i installed KN cold air intake I have been driving like i have high performance car.

Fits a 2010 Expedition? Not so much.
Maybe I am being concerned about nothing, but when there is a 1" space between the new housing and the old intake I get nervous. The point that I mean is the box in which the old filter sat and where the new housing goes. There is still a filter between that space and the air intake, but I see some of the stuff that splashes up in that area and I do not want it anywhere near my filter. As far as the sound, there was a serious difference. Serious difference. At first I thought it was pretty cool, that my Expedition sounded like I hear some of the other American (stock) trucks make. Then I realized I am probably the only one that can hear it (this was not an exhaust modification), which is fine. But then I came to really not like it. It is not a throaty sound, but more of a mid-range sound. It became grating pretty quickly.I did not really notice much of an MPG change, but I did not give it more than a tank to really notice. Frankly, the MPG should have skyrocketed because I kept avoiding any quick acceleration just to avoid the sound it would make.

Increases fuel economy and Acceleration
Excellent product. Takes about an hour to install. Got me an extra hets me about an extra 140KM before i have to fill up. Should pay for itself in about a year in gas savings

Adds a good amount of power
I’ll be buying another one again, add a good amount of power and throttle response. The truck sounds like it has a blow off valve and I love it.
