I could not be happier with this monitor. It was very easy to set up and worked flawlessly to keep us informed on the temperature in our motorhome. The wifi at the RV park where we were staying was fairly weak, but this connected quickly and never had an issue dropping the signal. I cannot believe how well this works for the price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I am an IT professional so I will be harsh on technical reviews I write. But in this case I’m fairly impressed for the price. I have had a week with the unit and feel confident I fully grasp how it works and what to expect so I will share my thoughts with those who may be considering one. First off - I am full time RV. I have a big motorhome and it’s often at a park left in the sun during the day. I may be out running around errands or hiking or what ever and my pets are left inside the camper. If the power fails or AC units or breaker trips... my pets are inside. So, I have a full time hotspot in my coach so devices are always accessible remotely from my phone. In the past I have simply used my webcam to look at the thermostat but that won’t send you alerts like this unit does and the reason I bought one. So first of. The alert feature works great considering the following things:- correctly set up WiFi on the device, 2.4G- especially in the case of iPhone, run the gauntlet of security settings to ensure location and push notifications are always allowed- the device has update intervals- I set mine to 30 min. This conserves it’s battery. So it only has to talk to WiFi every 30 min. So this means potentially up to 30 min delay in notification.- when you are in close proximity to the device (I assume this is why it wants location data) it will attempt to connect bluetooth which is much lower power consumption and thus constantly active.- the graphs from the day if you are away will have major holes that update as soon as you get in proximity.Some dislikes:- Device is not backlit. ProbablyAlso due to battery life concerns- slides up out of the wall mount holder (included) easily, which I suspect will become a projectile in transit when used in an RV.- directions could be better. As usual you get a huge book and shed a tear when you find only two pages of it are in your language. No pics no clear direction on things just general guidance. Granted the app is not all that complicated and it’s all done via app. Could be better for non tech savvy people.- if you intend to use this on a vacation home or place you will be away from long periods of time, the delay is something to consider. also you cannot remotely manage the device. Have to be in bluetooth range to make any changes to it. Such as setting alert thresholdsOverall I find that there is much more to be liked than disliked about this device and would recommend it. Just be advised of some of the limitations. I am happy with the purchase, it works for what I need it to.P.s. what is it with the “ Warmth “ question on this review ? I gave that 4 stars. lol. Accuracy, and easy to read I can understand. 5 stars. “Warmth” ? Well it’s as warm as it says it is on the face I guess...

So many devices that track temperature or weather data gives the consumer basic information but then wants to charge a subscription fee if the user wants to access their own data. Not so with Govee, and for this reason I'm a huge Govee fan. I own three of their wifi thermometer/humidity devices at two different locations and I love these devices. I have mine set up through my Amazon Echos so all I need to do is ask Alexa for the temperature or humidity and the data is right their. I can also download the data into the Govee app then export it to an MS Excel spreadsheet. I appreciate the conveninence especially because once I purchase the Govee devices, I don't pay to access my own data.Additionally, these devices run on their own, there is no hub required for communication with the app. The app is on my phone or iPad and I can look and analyse it whenever I have a question. Thank you, Govee, for putting your customers first.

Wanted these for early warning incase of heating / cooling issues when out of the home on vacation etc , they are super simple to hook to the network once you have downloaded the APP , but only 2.5GHz.The readout on the device is easy to read , but it's the APP dashboard that's the best , very clear all devices are shown at the high level then you can set alarms for the temp , and battery condition , plus drill down to see the various timespanI figure if the unit alarms on the APP I have a day to get a friend to let a repair man in the home rather than having any burst pipes or whatnotGreat value , easy to connect , APP is easy to read what's not to love .....

This product has been a fantastic addition to my home! I have a "She Shed" that houses a very expensive industrial laser engraver, as well as other expensive pieces of equipment. Constant temperature monitoring is vital, as dropping below freezing will cause the laser tube to crack, which is an $1800 mistake. After having that situation happen last year, while using a bluetooth temperature monitor from a different company, I started looking for something different. I love Govee products, so naturally, they were my first choice. The WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity make it easy to check readings remotely through the app, and the alerts are super helpful for keeping conditions stable.It works exactly as I need it to, and it is incredibly accurate. Highly recommend!!

Just received mine and definitely way off from what my actual temp in house is! I have it sitting right near my thermostat on wall to be sure it’s accurate and of course it’s not! I bought this for one reason and one reason only for my bedroom that is upstairs as it’s like my attic that I built my bedroom in I have a wifi attic fan that I want to run when it’s hot up there but only wanted to turn it on once I knew it reached a certain temperature when I’m not home. This is the reason I bought this wifi thermostat from Govee. But with it being 10 degrees difference I’ll actually never actually know how hot it is up stairs to be able to turn on my attic fan from anywhere. I wouldn’t mind if it was off a degree or two but 10 is too much for my liking! Boxing back up and returning this piece of Junk! Need to find something that’s more accurate for my taste! I changed out the batteries as soon as it arrived this way I know the batteries are good! The screen is a bit smaller too and with no back lite on device itself is a downer as well. I get it u can just go to your phone to look at it, but why have a screen on device if u really can’t see it anyways? A few things I would consider in the future if I’m looking at purchasing any of these thermostats again.
