Works great
This auger is very powerful. I've used it to go as deep as 4 feet. My soil has occasional big rocks which will stop a hand-operated machine like this. I've never even used full power for fear of hitting a rock and breaking my wrists. If you have rocky soil, have a very heavy steel pole on hand to dislodge the rocks after they stop the auger.Starting the engine initially and restarting it after shutting it down requires LOTS of priming, but for me, it never failed to start.

Great Product and Even Better Customer Service
I bought this auger to drill footing holes for 8x8 posts. The auger worked great, no complaints. I love the multiple drill size heads! A while after the project, I had an issue with a broken part. Honestly, it was totally user error and not related to the machine. I contacted customer service and they special ordered a replacement part and had it shipped from China for me. When that didn't work, they sent me a rebuilt motor for free. I was days away from starting a landscaping project that I needed the auger for and was already researching where to rent one when the replacement arrived. I was so grateful! Would definitely recommend!

Works great & easy to handle.
So far, it's been a great tool for our fencing project. Unboxed, installed the 6" auger, filled it with premium premix and drilled a dozen post holes in the time it would have taken me to dig 1 by hand saving me a days worth of back breaking digging. Only complaint is that while being light and easy to handle, its size makes it work harder under heavy loads.

It worked as indicated, dug well
The good is that it was as described, with the exeption that the 3 extensions weren't in the package. The bad, is there's no "this way out" so it seemed the way to operate was with the exhaust towards me. (Instructions weren't helpful.) Once I figured this out my clothes still accumulated exhaust and I needed a mask to operate the unit. There were several messages with the seller to try to get the extensions. These aren't needed for 90% of users but I needed them. After a few messages, they sent "the missing" units but only one arrived. It tooks a few other messages to get 2 other sent. The seller sends all the advertised parts if you have patience.

Workhorse
Used this bad boy to dig 44 holes to build a 340 foot wood stick built fence. Super deal since it comes with both bits and the extension which is essential to most post holes to meet ordinance depths. Big warning though, watch yourself while digging, this thing has a lot more power than you realize and when you hit a rock it will jerk really hard if you're throttle is too high. Nearly dislocated my shoulder a couple times. It does not have reverse so do not get greedy while digging and clear the bit often. If you go too deep you will bury the bit and need to dig it out. Very strong auger for the cost, well worth the money.

keep searching
2 of this item arrived by mistake. They sent 4 boxes which 2 were the motors, 2 were the augers and no extension pieces. I contacted the seller and they wanted me to buy the extra unit (less $20). I didnt think it was worth it, but shortly after using the item that worked, parts began quickly breaking off if this thing. I decided it might be worth my while to pay $200 for the 2nd item for parts alone amd they agreed. I drilled about 10 holes with the first one and it quit on me. Wouldn't start for anything. I tried messing with the choke needles and nothing. I gave up on that one and started using the 2nd one after replacing all of the broken parts. It ran like a champ and even seen lied better than the first one right out of the gate. As you start to dig down, any and all things that are not dirt will stop this auger and you will be at a power struggle with the machine to see who will move first, the rock, the auger or your wrists. Eventually you have to give up, pull the auger out of the hole, remove the 2 inch rock and start over again. What i ended up using this auger for, was to get the hole started and between a manual post digger and this auger, I work the hole down to the required depth.Fast forward to now. I have done roughly 40 holes with and without the use of the auger. Now the 2nd one is starting to show signs of what the first auger had. You pull the start and it stalls out shortly after. You adjust the choke and it stays running but dies the moment you set the choke to "run", so you end up with the choke lever somewhere between open and closed. While digging a hole, the extension piece bent and turned into a corkscrew. I dig down in and found no restrictions. Put a new extension on and was able to dig the rest if the way. Started the next hole and did the same exact thing. Eventually I was forced to use the auger on the motor directly because I had burnt through all of the extension pieces. My initial reaction when I was unpacking it was "oh boy, this is a China made piece of junk" i was not wrong. The wiring is loosely run along the outside of the handle. There are no zip ties, no fabricated channels, nothing. I sent the company a suggestion to drill holes in the handle and feed the wires internally because this is a poor design. The first auger the gas cable became pinched due to this design flaw amd the handles were ripped out of my hands as it started to spin uncontrollably until I got lucky and kicked the kill switch by sticking my foot out and hoping for the best.I would not recommend this product even if they gave me a full refund of what i paid. Serious design flaws. Lacks power, clunky parts

Expected
If you have the patience and a strong enough back to get it started, does adequate job in all surfaces except hard clay
