Jaxx Alon Daybed/Fold-Out Sleeper, Queen-Size Mattress - Premium Chenille, Grey, Model:

We wanted to convert our guest room (had a queen sized bed in it that took up most of the space) into a playroom but we still wanted to be able to sleep two guests if needed. We looked at daybeds but the footprint of these were too big for the space. I did not want a pull out couch since I’ve never slept on one of those and felt like I’d had a good night sleep in the morning. I found this on Amazon and I’m so glad I did! It is perfect for what we needed in this space.As a couch, it is comfortable though it is slightly lower to the ground than a regular couch. I admit that when the box came I was skeptical since it didn’t seem like the whole thing could fit in the one box that arrived, but once we assembled it, we were very happy. One person has slept on it and elected not to make it into the full queen size, but they said it was very comfortable. It did have a very noticeable odor right out of the box, but it faded away in less than 2 weeks. Seller was great and shipping was faster than expected.The bottom line:Pros: great for a small space while not sacrificing the ability to have guests, comfortable as both a couch and a bed, quality materialCons: out of box smell, cost (though when we priced out daybeds, by the time we factored in mattresses, this wasn’t much more and still sleeps 2 people)I love it, as it fits our specific needs.

I love this! I live in a really small studio so I needed something that can be a couch in the daytime. I love the look of this and it feels very well made. It was super easy to put together and looks expensive. My only complaint is that you can feel the seems in the middle when you flip it into a bed but I bought a foam and mattress topper to go on top and that pretty much fixed it. The foam is light so it's easy to make into a bed and back into a couch

We got this to have a queen size pull out bed and a stylish daybed for our study. It fits in perfectly and our guests loved it. I'd note that the "queen size" is really two separate twin-ish sizes, but this works fine for us since we're mostly expecting to use it with visiting couples.Very easy to "construct", very compact packaging, great quality, and great customer service. We thought we'd want to change out the color of our cover and the seller communicated easily and quickly via Amazon messaging. We ended up not doing this, as the color grew on us, but appreciated the attentiveness and cooperation of the sellers.

It’s fine for a “hang out” place to sit... But it’s not really a bed by any stretch. It’s as hard as a rock, you’ll need a topper for it, or a waffle top... but storing that is an issue because it’s so cumbersome.

I purchased the turquoise color in chenille fabric, and it is very nice looking. I took a nap on it to test it out, and it is quite comfortable. Much more comfortable than a futon or air mattress. When used as a Queen bed, I recommend using a mattress topper to cover the ‘split’ between the two halves. My only complaint is that the fabric smells like fresh paint. It’s very strong. I am hoping it goes away soon. But overall, very happy with this daybed. The elderly might have problems getting in and out of this bed because when it’s used as a Queen bed, it is very low to the ground. Quality is good. Some reviews complained it was not worth the price, but it is made in the U.S.A, which is a good thing, so of course it is going to cost more.

This attractive, sturdy, and very comfortable; a great addition to our bedroom. I use it in the daytime for reading and it is a handy sleep option when one of us is restless at night. I doubt we will ever fold it out but we like it just as pictured. I added a few throw pillows.
