Love how compact and thin it is when storing
We were looking for a wide slot toaster that was slim and compact for our RV. There is limited counter space and storage space. The first time we used it, we had it under the cabinet and the cabinet was getting quite hot. So, when in use, make sure you move it out from under the cabinet. It is very easy to use, seems sturdy and the toasting is perfect. I love the appearance, compactness and easy to stow away. I highly recommend for small spaces.

great design, one slot toaster for larger breads is a plus!
this seems like an excellent buy! but don't look for it to save counterspace! it takes up as much space as two toasters really, but i still think it's an excellent buy, despite that! i like the single slot design allowing for larger slices of bread , and that it also comes in stainless steel is nice! overall a very cool toaster!

Yuppie toaster. Looks cool.
In the advertisement, this toaster looks fantastic. It appears to be a slide toaster and a pop-up toaster. Additionally, it has a thin design that allows you to toast two bagels next to each other in less area and has a control panel to adjust the toast's appearance.I'm disappointed that it's bigger than I anticipated. The mechanism releases the toast onto the tray by plunging down to unlock a trap door beneath it, rather than just popping them out. The plunger on this primarily plastic toaster is primarily decorative and does not really pop toast; instead, it functions as a changeable weak point mechanism. The cleanup is simple, but if you want to make a grilled cheese or quesadilla sandwich, you'll have work to do.I suppose it's energy efficient because I occasionally have to toast the bread more than once to get it to a golden brown. The provided examples demonstrate how the toaster will cook bread unevenly when used for the first time. However, if bread is inserted into the toaster sideways and given time, the toaster will begin to toast the bread uniformly.Since the device doesn't pop up, anything that is too large or too rigid won't fit through to the bottom tray, which is necessary. There are no attachments that fit into this toaster to make grilled sandwiches or other foods. If this toaster isn't going to spring toast upward, the cancel button should have included a start button, in my opinion. Additionally, this toaster is too big for a kitchen table to operate without the tray open.

Really cool toaster
This toaster is so cool and fits significantly larger slices of bread or bagels in it with ease, but be aware if you buy regular loaf of bread, smaller slices may get caught up in the ejection port

Not perfect, not the best i have ever used, glad i bought it.
Easily the best toaster I have had in 20+ years.Cons.2nd toasting is much darker than first toasting.harder to push downlarge slices don't toast as evenonly 2 slicesshort power cordPros.good temperature control (clickly)Even toasting99% of the time toast slides out bottomLoud clunk lets you know when its doneSimple design.relatively fast toastingeasy clean upminimal counter spaceMy favorite toaster is no longer made and becoming a collectors item. This is faster and toast better. the bottom eject is obviously the best feature. Its harder to push down than most, fine for an adult but might be hard for younger kids. Has a loud clunk when it ends which I think is a plus. Large rye pieces tend to stick out the top if cooking 2 at time, this happens with many toasters. You can just toast 1 piece of a time.Because the toaster is warmer the first batch will be lighter than following batches. Turning the toaster down 2-3 clicks is a must after the first batch if you want consistent toasting. I like the clicky temperature dial. Gives you more consistent results. i do wish there were better marking but honestly you can make your own if you need. I do wish the toaster could be mounted to the wall but it takes up less space than most 2 slice toasters.I have only used it for about a month, but will update this if my impression changes or if it breaks.

Doesn’t last very long
Was great for the first year or two but then it broke. It would not drop the toast down through the bottom. Ended up switching Grandma back to a regular toaster but at first it was amazing.

Pretty darn cool
Very fast, very efficient. I’ve only used it a few times so far, but I’m very happy with it. It wasn’t until after using it twice that I realized it wouldn’t be a good idea under the cabinet (as pictured), but very little heat had transferred to the underside of the cabinet. Personally I’ll probably pull it out when I use it from now on, just to be safe, but I think it would work just fine directly under your cabinets. Clearance isn’t a problem, either. There’s plenty of room from the top of the toaster to the bottom of the above cabinet. Still, if you choose to use it directly under a cabinet be careful. Like I said, there wasn’t a lot of heat transferred, but different finishes can produce different results, so keep an eye on it.As for the toaster itself, it worked great at reheated some frozen waffles I had made earlier. They even came out with a little extra crispiness that my previous toaster couldn’t provide. They were evenly heated (5 - medium) without much change in color. I haven’t tried toast, but if this thing can handle a waffle with care then I think toast would be no problem at all.Make sure you follow the instructions - it’s like one page of info so there’s no reason not to. Use it empty on high power before actually toasting anything. After this first round I noticed a tiny drop of pink machine lube on my counter. It must’ve shot out when the toasting ejector had activated. This stuff stinks and needs to be burned off. You don’t want it on your food.Hope that helps. I was a little on the fence because of some negative reviews, but I haven’t seen anything yet to make me not love this toaster. It’s perfect. And the price is on point. If you’re like me and considering getting a high-end toaster ($100) - DON’T. At least not without giving this one a try first. I’m very happy with my purchase.
