Great pool! Read for setup tips
This is a great pool, but there are some things you should know about setup.1. Be sure the ground is level. That is usually obvious but this pool’s poles on the sides do NOT clip into each other. They are only pushed into each other.2. Because the poles do not click together, be sure that they are really tight before you get too much water in the pool. If you have too much water, the pool sleeve puts too much weight for you to slide them back together for a snug fit.3. The joint between the poles is just to support them from buckling. See importance in #2. If they are not snug and sort of buckle, your sides will kind of bow in. (See my pics) If you ensure they are snug, you will get straight sides like several other pictures.I went wrong with my setup because I tried to move the pool down when all the poles were together which made some of them separate a little. I didn’t notice until there was way too much water to try to move the pool sleeve for a tighter fit.Even with the slight bowing, the pool, sides and structure are solid. I just wish I had read about the poles. Also, the joints in the middle do not have any screws or connectors or anything in them that would cause concern that you see pictures with raised pieces on each side of the joint. I saw a picture with concern about it holding up. I expected to have the joint slide into the poles with those little metal buttons the depress to fit the pieces together. It didn’t have that so the raised sides of the joint had no bearing on the construction. The pool has been up for 30 days or so and it is very easy to maintain. I used a little larger pump at 1500 gph vs the 1000 others have used. (I opted for the bigger one due to my extremely hot climate to prevent the slimy sides without using a ton of chemicals.)

Not Too Shabby! (Update)
Nice size pool for the money. I assembled it by myself in an hour and a half. Directions were straight forward so with 2 people the “30 minute assemble time” noted on the box is probably accurate. Will update once the pool is filled and the kids have used it a time or two!*** UPDATE ***Awoke the morning after filling with water to find an enormous puddle of water at the base of the pool so there is at least one leak that I cannot see. I will have to contact the manufacturer and hope they will send a new liner ASAP.

Best summer purchase!
Best summer purchase!! I'm so glad I bought this pool and yes it did have a teeny tiny tear but with one of the patches it came with it was fixed super fast! This is the perfect size for me and my husband on hot summer days!

Beat the Heat and Score Some Summer Serenity!
The media could not be loaded. I assembled the 8.5x 5.5 pool alone, in 95 degree heat, so it took me about 1.5 hours. I watched a youtube video that helped with assembly. I have an uneven patio, but this pool sits more level than the round inflatable one we had from intex. It is sturdy and seems to be holding the water well. It comes with two of the filter tubes, but no pump. I am using the one I used for my 8x8 round pool and it appears to be working fine. I also left space between the fence and pool to prevent it from leaning against the fence as it filled. I also purchased an intex cover, which is a bit larger than the pool, but it gives me extra room so I don’t have to stretch it so far. I also used two tarps under the pool, as it does not include a pad like the larger one. I like the depth of this pool, as it is filled almost to the top, something I couldn’t do with the round pool.

arrived with 2 (sealable) holes
Size and set up were great for the space I had available. Went up easily and filled within 2 hours. No filter provided, but having had prior intex pools I already had a previous filter I added. biggest problem is After setting up and filling with water, within the top 8 inches were 2 holes - not pin prick, but more semi circle, size of a dime - were punctured in. they were not noticeable until the water stretched and dribbled out. I was able to use the patch's provided to seal them - but still extremely disappointed given its brand new!!!!! hoping to add extra security to those patches later, so heres to hoping it doesnt give me problems for the next 3 months.

Built to last
6/10/2025: Just set this pool up for the fourth time and it still looks great, parts have all held up and there are no tears or leaks. Purchased early summer 2022 and it was used heavily. Requires a pump and chlorine.
