Only bulbs I’ll use
Great light, and lasts a long time for performance! I always order these lights from Amazon, most department stores and Hardware stores doesn’t carry these, so I’m glad that Amazon does! I always get them thru Amazon with NO breakage!

Excellent Light Bulbs
I remember when you could get light bulbs for 1.00 or $2 now their so pricy that IMO purchasing smart lights that last longer than your standard bulbs is more economical than standard light bulb purchase. These lights adjust with the lightening and darkening to outside. Very good purchase and lights!

Great so far…
Perfect color temperature for me, just like an incandescent bulb. These are 3-ways, and seem to put out the correct amount of illumination on all settings. The bulb base gets hot, but they all do, nothing abnormal - nothing that would scorch a fabric shade if it’s sized right.Only unknown is the life of the bulb. I’ve had many led bulbs of other brands fail after a few years - way short of the claims. But these are Cree bulbs. Good stuff. I’ve only had these a few months…so if they run their rated number of hours before failure, I’ll update my review after I’m dead. But so far, so good!

Cree LEDs never disappoint
The CREE LED bulbs are some of the best you can buy. Always good build quality and great color temperature

Great While They Work
I do like Cree LED bulbs but I have found that many of my “10 year warranty” bulbs fail within 2-5 years. They render a “warm white” 2700k hue beautifully, but I spent more on these for the quality. I’d had about a 20% premature failure rate, more on candelabra style, but also on some traditional bulb shapes.I’ve also had the 3 level bulbs fail so that only one light level worked.I’m still a Cree fan but not sure I’d pay extra for them any more. Also, their new customer service policy on warranty work is to ask for the original receipt. I saved some because some larger items were on them, but honestly who is saving bulb receipts for 5-10 years?

*NOT for Fully Enclosed Fixtures, Otherwise quality bulbs
I've had good success with Cree led products in the past, so I tried these bulbs. Specifically, I was intrigued by the noted compatibility of these bulbs with fully enclosed fixtures. With led bulbs, the trapped heat inside enclosed fixtures eventually kills typical led bulbs, and it's not terribly common to find led bulbs that are rated for enclosed fixtures. From the product description in Amazon's listing, these are noted as being good for use anywhere a traditional bulb would be used - "even fully enclosed fixtures"...Unfortunately, when I received the bulbs, the packaging says exactly the opposite... See picture attached, which notes these are NOT for use in totally enclosed fixtures.I won't be returning these as they're good quality, and brightness, and the CRI is nice, but the description should be revised to match the actual product packaging.

Flickers! And different color!
I had bought Cree 60w bulbs a few years ago and was very happy with them. No flickering or buzzing. But these new 100w bulbs are terrible. Very loud buzzing and flickers intermittently.

Excellent color match to halogen incandescent bulbs
We have a mixture of incandescent and LED lighting in our main room; this is due to our desire for the light nearest night activities to be incandescent in order to avoid the residual short-wavelength (blue) light used as part of the LED 'white' light production system (and its effect on melatonin suppression; see e.g., Touitou Y, Point S. Effects and mechanisms of action of light-emitting diodes on the human retina and internal clock. Environmental Research. 2020;190. doi:10.1016/j.envres.2020.109942). We have been seeking an LED bulb that replicates the incandescent lamp color, and these CREE 3000K bulbs are a very good match indeed. I do not in fact yet have information on longevity, but am delighted immediately with the aesthetic results.
